Married At First Sight bride Alissa reveals her A-list celebrity doppelgänger: ‘Looks just like her’

Alissa Fay may look familiar to some Married At First Sight fans.

And that may be because the television bride bears a striking resemblance to a very famous actress.

The 33-year-old Adelaide nurse says she has a doppelgänger in Wuthering Heights star Margot Robbie.

When asked who she is mistaken for on Thursday, Alissa was quick to name the Aussie superstar.

Alissa said she’s often told she looks like Margot Robbie, Britney Spears, and Olivia Valance, according to Nine.

Many fans agree with her assessment, with several commenting their thoughts on Reddit.

Okay, I’m not the only one seeing it, right? Someone just said she totally gives off Margot Robbie vibes, and I lost it! It’s not a perfect match, obviously, but there’s something there, I swear! I think it’s the way her eyes are spaced… it’s so similar! I’ve been saying it for ages, and finally someone else gets it! It’s uncanny!

Someone else agreed, saying they also thought of Margot, but acknowledged they were likely in the minority. Another person simply expressed their agreement.

Other popular comparisons included Rachel McAdams and Abbie Chatfield.

On X, a fan commented that Alissa resembles Margot Robbie, but another user quickly disagreed, stating that she doesn’t look like her at all.

This follows Alissa’s shocking accusation that a fellow cast member has romantic feelings for another bride’s husband, which came after a dramatic dinner party ended in an argument.

She told Daily Mail that problems began when Bec Zacharia started creating conflict and drama among the couples.

Alissa described the dinner party as unpleasant, explaining that Bec mirrored Brook Crompton’s behavior by creating drama and interfering in other people’s relationships. She said it was ‘pretty yucky’.

Alissa added that she felt caught in the middle of Bec’s feud with co-star Gia Fleur.

She believed Gia was attempting to retaliate against Bec, and unfortunately, she got caught in the middle.

She accused them of acting like typical “mean girls” and alleged that Gia was obsessed with Bec’s husband, Danny Hewitt.

“I really believe Gia always had feelings for Danny,” Alissa explained. “She constantly brings him up, and when you consider everything, it’s pretty clear.”

‘I think she was trying to start any fire she could to sabotage that relationship.’

Alissa mentioned that while Bec did apologize, she wasn’t sure if it was sincere because Bec didn’t seem to change how she acted.

You know, I’ve learned a lot about relationships over the years, and this situation really hits home. Someone I thought was a friend was talking behind my back, and it left me questioning everything. It made me realize that truly genuine people don’t feel the need to gossip, and honestly, some things should stay private. It’s a tough lesson, but it’s about recognizing that actions speak louder than words, and healthy relationships thrive on trust and respect – and that includes keeping confidences.
