Maroon 5 Joins Forces With BLACKPINK’s LISA for New Single “Priceless”

Maroon 5 and BLACKPINK’s Lisa are joining forces for their initial collaboration. This represents Maroon 5’s comeback in the pop realm, and they’ve also debuted fresh visuals to go with the track.

The song blends the pop origins of the band led by Adam Levine in the early 2000s with the K-pop genre by LISA. The music video, inspired by the classic action movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” is filmed on 35mm film and directed by Aerin Moreno. In a statement, Levine discussed the collaboration with LISA, saying, “This song features a guitar-based melody, something we haven’t done in a while. It started during our album recording. We believe it’s the most genuine sound, and we are thrilled to have LISA on it. The guitar riff is me playing into an audio message on my iPhone with an acoustic guitar. I became emotional during recording because it felt like a reconnection to our roots, which fans have been asking for. It’s been over 20 years, so it seems like the right time for this sound to return.

Earlier, a glimpse of the song was shared on Instagram, highlighting Adam Levine’s high-pitched vocals. This single is anticipated to be included in the band’s forthcoming album, a follow-up to their 2021 release titled “Jordi“.
