Mark Wright’s Pregnancy Nerves: A Candid Look at Fatherhood

Mark Wright has spoken about fatherhood and his nerves at becoming a first time dad.

On The One Show last Friday evening, the previous TOWIE celebrity was showcasing his upcoming BBC DIY program, Clean It, Fix It, in collaboration with co-presenter Tommy Walsh. During their appearance, they were commended by hosts Lauren Laverne and Roman Kemp for their endeavor.

Embracing this significant moment, here I am, Mark at 38, feeling a blend of excitement and a touch of apprehension. Yet, I’m prepared, and my enthusiasm is undiminished.

Asked if he would be decorating the nursery himself, he joked: ‘I’ll let you guys do it.’

In the closing days of December, Mark and his spouse, renowned ex-actress from Coronation Street, Michelle Keegan (aged 37), revealed their pending parenthood on Instagram by posting a picture taken at the beach, where Michelle lovingly held her growing belly.

Their caption read: ‘2025 is going to be a special one for us…✨.’

Host of Heart Radio, Mark, previously gained popularity through the ITVBe series TOWIE, currently holds the title of uncle to both his footballer brother Josh’s kids and his sister Jess’s son. Over time, he has openly expressed his desire to become a father someday.

Their baby news comes after their Essex mansion was targeted by masked intruders.

The couple reportedly locked themselves in their bedroom as their porch window was smashed.

The suspects managed to break into a property and then leave, prompting the police to arrive at the scene within just eight minutes after receiving the call.

As reported by The Sun, authorities were quickly notified through their advanced security system and reached the couple’s luxurious residence in Essex within a short span of time.

A group of robbers, who had their faces covered with balaclavas and wore dark clothing, was said to have left the location without any loot in a waiting vehicle.

According to the source, it was a distressing event for both individuals, yet they are comforted by the fact that neither sustained any injuries.

Mark wisely chose to remain by his wife’s side, ensuring her well-being, until the police arrived. They both stayed put in the room before departing.

Experiencing that ordeal must have been incredibly challenging, especially given her advanced pregnancy. It’s not surprising she’s deeply affected by the events that transpired.

As a diligent observer, I suspect that the group in question were seasoned experts, presumably on the hunt for a substantial gain, within the sprawling landscapes of the rural property.

It is said that a camera spotted the group approaching the house and notified Mark and Michelle’s phones with an alert.

According to the source, when Mark noticed someone was burglarizing the house, his immediate concern was Michelle’s safety, so he took quick action.

The pair frequently share photos of both the inside and outside of their grand house, split between their individual Instagram profiles and a joint one dedicated to their residence.

The account under the name Wrightyhome on their home platform boasts a following of approximately 663 thousand people, who keep up with the couple’s large-scale renovation project that they worked on in the past.

Approximately two years ago, the star of TOWIE and his actress spouse relocated to their beautiful house, which they bought in 2019 for approximately £1.3 million.

Officers continue to investigate, urging anyone with information to come forward.
