Having been a fan of Wahlberg’s acting career since the ’90s, it was a treat to see him connect with his fans Down Under.

On Thursday, Mark Wahlberg delighted his fans in Australia by unexpectedly dropping by his Wahlburgers eatery located at the Gold Coast.

A famous actor from Hollywood, aged 53, currently shooting a new film titled “Balls Up” in Australia, posted on Instagram a video of him interacting with enthusiastic fans at a local eatery.

Mark expressed to his followers, “I’m currently at Wahlburgers in Surfers Paradise, known as the sexiest Wahlburger location worldwide, right here on the Gold Coast. Take a look and you’ll understand why.”

I could hardly contain my excitement as I finally approached the restaurant where Mark Wahlberg was known to frequent. My heart raced as I caught a glimpse of him entering through the doors. Awe-struck, I watched as he greeted the staff and customers with warm smiles and friendly banter. I felt like I had won the lottery as he posed for photos with me and several other devoted fans. The moment was surreal, and I cherished every second of it.

At the relaxed eatery in America, established by Mark, Paul, and Donnie Wahlberg in 2011, the Ted actor seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself as he shared hearty laughs with the locals.

The Australian branch of Wahlburgers, which debuted in 2022 at Gold Coast, is currently the sole outlet for this franchise Down Under. The popular siblings behind the brand are considering expansion plans based on its success.

One fan commented, “This is likely the top spot in Surfers Paradise,” and another replied, “This person and place are my favorites.”

Currently in Australia, the experienced actor is working on a new film titled “Balls Up.” This project is being led by Peter Farrelly, who is well-known for directing “Dumb and Dumber.”

In the last few years, the actor hailing from Boston has been devoting considerable time down under. He’s currently working on an imminent action thriller production titled “Play Dirty” in Australia.

Back in 2021, I, as an over-the-moon fan, read in the Daily Telegraph about Wahlberg’s exciting plans. He expressed his eagerness to film a movie on the breathtaking Gold Coast soon and shared his intention of bringing his cherished family along for the journey.

‘I’m looking forward to coming back,’ he said.

Mark added that his wife, model Rhea Durham, ‘would fall in love with Australia’ if she visited.
