Mark Ruffalo makes a last-minute plea to voters still considering Green Party nominee Jill Stein over Kamala Harris

As a dedicated follower of Mark Ruffalo, I find myself deeply moved by his heartfelt plea to voters in the 2024 presidential election. His unwavering commitment to social justice and human rights is truly inspiring. Having witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of political decisions on communities around the world, I can empathize with his frustration and anger over the Israel-Gaza conflict.

Mark Ruffalo shared a last-minute plea to voters still torn between voting for Green Party nominee Jill Stein or Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

On Sunday, the 56-year-old actor encouraged his followers to vote for Harris, the Democratic candidate, instead of Stein, aged 74, even though he personally felt frustrated with the Biden administration’s position regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict.

‘If you’re still undecided between voting for Kamala Harris or Jill Stein, I encourage you to take a look at this video. It features Palestinian American and political activist Rania Brace, whom I collaborated with in making it. We appreciate the difficulty of your choice but wanted to share our viewpoint.’ This post has garnered 1.6 million views.

In a video posted on X, the actress from 13 Going on 30 and Rania Batrice, a well-known Palestinian political advocate, explained their decision to cast their votes for Harris instead of Stein.

Batrice emphasized that even though Harris hasn’t gone far enough in her actions to win her vote, she is the only contender who can be persuaded to transition from speaking about issues to taking concrete steps to uphold both U.S. domestic laws and international humanitarian law.

Simultaneously, Ruffalo voiced his dismay about finding himself in a challenging situation, and he emphatically stated that a second term for Donald Trump would result in further hardships and strife for our ally groups.

As a lifestyle expert, I empathize with your deep feelings of sorrow and fury. For well over a year, I’ve been standing side by side with many others, passionately advocating for an immediate halt to the ongoing tragedy in Gaza. Our collective hearts are heavy with dismay as we witness the Biden administration’s involvement and what seems like a stark disregard for human rights, as the conflict has expanded to Lebanon, edging ever closer to a perpetual war.

The pair, then, made it explicitly clear they were both voting for Harris.

I get it; this predicament is tough, and it feels like we’re trapped between a rock and a hard place. But if Trump were to return as president, I can’t help but fear that it would only intensify the hardships faced by our supportive communities, adding more pain and strife to their already heavy burden.

Batrice criticized Stein harshly, accusing her of exploiting their past traumas and deceiving her followers by suggesting that there was any possible way she could triumph in the election.

According to Ruffalo, Jill Stein lacks both credibility and the qualifications necessary to become president. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of being tactical when choosing a candidate to vote for. He also notes that the majority of people in numerous polls are advocating for an end to genocide and for existing laws to be upheld.

“We’ve decided to support Kamala Harris as our presidential candidate, as we’re committed to keeping her responsible from the very start of her term. We invite you to stand alongside us in this endeavor.

On Election Day, he posted a selfie showing himself with several “Vote” badges, along with details helping his followers find their respective polling stations.

This past week, he joined forces with Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Danai Gurira, Don Cheadle, and Paul Bettany, his fellow Avengers cast members, in backing Harris.

Avoid missing out on this crucial project: Project 2025, which concerns women’s reproductive rights, climate change, LGBTQIA+ rights, public education, student debt relief, the Affordable Care Act, Social Security, and now, life-saving vaccines. This is not a game; it’s about to affect everyone directly.

Over the weekend, he also attended Governor Tim Walz’s rally in Michigan.

I’d like to express my gratitude, Governor Tim Walz, for that invigorating gathering! Your fervor, dedication, and vitality truly permeated the atmosphere, serving as a constant reminder of the immense significance of this election.
