Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni Spark Romance Rumors at Knicks Game!

On the Friday in Midtown Manhattan, Mariska Hargitay and regular acting partner Christopher Meloni were seen affectionately holding hands as they sat together court-side at Madison Square Garden.

During a basketball match between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks, which ended with a score of 108 to 102 in favor of the Cavaliers, the 61-year-old Emmy award recipient moved closer and conversed amicably with the 64-year-old fellow Emmy nominee.

Mariska was accompanied by her 18-year-old son, August Hermann, while Christopher arrived with his longtime partner, Sherman Williams, who they’ve been married for 29 years.

At some point, Hargitay expressed her affection for Friday night games at Madison Square Garden, where she watches the New York Knicks on MSG Networks, especially their captain Jalen Brunson. She also mentioned that it wasn’t bad having Chris Meloni by her side in the post she shared on Instagram.

Notable attendees at the NBA game on Friday evening were Tracy Morgan, Matthew Modine, Susie Essman, as well as Michael J. Fox and his spouse Tracy Pollan.

According to People, when Meloni and Williams brought their 24-year-old daughter Sophia into the world through a surrogate, they selected the inspiration behind Taylor Swift as her godmother, thus expanding their family.

Mariska gives birth to a 14-year-old daughter named Amaya and a 13-year-old son called Andrew. She has been married for 20 years to Peter Hermann, who is known for his role in Blue Bloods, which they both met on the set of her police series on NBC in 2001.

Actress Mariska Hargitay, known for portraying NYPD Captain Olivia Benson, is set to make a guest appearance in the fifth season of the series “Law & Order: Organized Crime.” This show, part of the Law & Order franchise, begins its new season this Thursday on the streaming platform Peacock.

It’s expected that Christopher will make a special appearance during the 22 episodes of the 26th season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, which can be seen every Thursday on NBC.

Christopher Meloni, who portrays NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler on SVU, unexpectedly departed the series in 2011 due to a disagreement over their contract, but reappeared as a recurring character in 2020. In 2021, he was given his own spin-off show.

In his conversation with TODAY on January 9, the Groundlings alum stated that he realized right away there was a special, almost magical connection between them, when they met for the first time in 1999.

Chris and I are completely different individuals in our personalities. However, there was a strange balance between us. So when we were teamed up during the audition, it felt like fate had taken its course.

In addition to acting, Mariska has taken on the roles of producer and director for a documentary titled “My Mom Jayne,” which will make its debut in June on HBO. This film focuses on her late mother, Jayne Mansfield.

Hargitay expressed deep gratitude, satisfaction, and immense pride when talking about sharing this movie,” he stated.

I’ve never had the chance to create a film with my mother, and she never got to produce the films she dreamed of. My mom, Jayne, serves as a gathering point for us, and I struggle to find the right words to express how significant it is for me to share her story, my own, and our shared narrative.

1982’s Miss Beverly Hills went on to say: ‘This film is a heartfelt tribute and quest. It’s a journey to find the mother I never met, a merging of an unknown aspect of myself, and a retrieval of my mother’s narrative and my own reality.’

Throughout my life, I’ve held the conviction that being vulnerable can bring about great strength. Making this movie has served as an exceptional testament to this conviction more powerfully than ever.

Mariska had just turned three when the beautiful woman, known as the blonde bombshell, met a tragic end at the age of 34. This happened in a shocking car accident in 1967. At the time, she and her brothers Mickey and Zoltan were sleeping in the backseat of a Buick Electra.
