Marisa Abela looks radiant in two bridal gowns as she dances up a storm with her new husband Jamie Bogyo and parties with on-screen lover Kit Harington in stunning wedding snaps

Oh my gosh, Marisa Abela got married! She looked absolutely breathtaking – seriously, like a total Old-Hollywood dream! I’m so jealous of Jamie Bogyo, but mostly just obsessed with how incredible she looked. And can you believe all her famous friends were there? It was the wedding of the year, I just *know* it!

Amy Winehouse, 28, looked stunning in an Emilia Wickstead gown and a long, nine-foot veil as she and her new husband, 31, drove past their wedding guests in a white convertible.

Marisa’s first wedding dress took inspiration from Audrey Hepburn’s style. It had a fitted waist, delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves, and a structured corset that created a smooth, elegant shape.

Let me tell you, the finishing touch to her incredible gown was absolutely stunning! She chose custom Jimmy Choo Max 150 heels, and here’s what I loved – they were personalized with her and her partner’s initials on the soles. It was such a sweet and thoughtful detail that really made the look special.

Kiernan Shipka, known for her role in Twisters, and Kit Harington, who stars alongside Marisa in the show Industry, were among the guests at the wedding held at Firle Place in East Sussex.

Marisa chose a special song for her walk down the aisle – the theme from the movie *Cinema Paradiso*. It was the film she and her partner had watched together before first confessing their love for each other, a sweet reminder of how their relationship began.

Marisa’s Industry co-star Myha’la was a bridesmaid on the day.

Nate Janis, Jamie’s best man, led the wedding ceremony, and both fathers of the bride and groom shared touching readings.

Liadán Dunlea and Iwan Davis, who were classmates with them at drama school, beautifully performed John Martyn’s song, ‘May You Never’.

Marisa shared with British Vogue that they wrote their own wedding vows. They also had a small, private legal ceremony at Islington Town Hall the week before their main wedding, with only their parents present. Afterwards, they celebrated with lunch at a beloved local restaurant.

This allowed us to create a wedding ceremony at Firle that truly reflected our personalities and celebrated our relationship.

Honestly, witnessing that moment felt like the absolute peak of everything. Tears were definitely flowing – we were all just so overcome with emotion! The love in that room was palpable, it truly was the most intimate and genuine ceremony I’ve ever experienced. It felt so personal and heartfelt.

Following the ceremony, Marisa wore a second dress by Emilia Wickstead – a beautiful ivory gown called the Micheline – for the evening’s reception.

Jamie looked sharp in a tailored Dunhill tuxedo, featuring classic black and white accents.

After exchanging vows, the newly married couple celebrated with their guests, enjoying confetti, champagne, cocktails, and a variety of appetizers.

That evening, guests were taken to Soho House Brighton for a cozy dinner and then spent the night dancing.

Marisa kicked off the weekend’s celebrations with a stylish outfit for the rehearsal dinner, including a custom dress from The Own Studio and a chic hat by Noel Stewart.

In July earlier this year, Marisa revealed she was engaged to the West End star.

The actress, known for playing Amy Winehouse in the movie *Back to Black*, announced the news on Instagram, saying she was overcome with emotion and crying.

Oh my gosh, you guys, she *actually* acknowledged him! Jamie posted the pictures and videos – I’ve been screenshotting everything, of course – and the caption was just… ‘She said she’ll think about it!’ I nearly died! And Marisa, who was there, commented ‘A weeping mess.’ Seriously, *me*! It was everything I’ve ever dreamed of, even if it’s just a tiny sliver of hope. I’m replaying the videos constantly!

Marisa and her partner celebrated their success on Primrose Hill, a place Amy Winehouse often visited, as a touching tribute to the late singer whom Marisa portrayed to international acclaim.

In a heartwarming moment captured in Jamie’s post, Marisa jumped into her partner’s arms after he proposed in the park.

The actress was then pleasantly surprised when her friends and family showed up to celebrate the happy news with her and her partner.

An adorable snap holding onto a rose also allowed Marisa to show off her whopping diamond ring.
