Marilyn Manson appeals Evan Rachel Wood defamation case dismissal over claim she forged FBI letter

As a seasoned observer of the tumultuous world of celebrity and their entangled lives, I find myself deeply troubled by the escalating legal battle between Marilyn Manson and Ashley Morgan Gore. The allegations against Manson are grave and disturbing, and if proven true, they paint a picture of a man who has used his power to manipulate and abuse women.

Marilyn Manson is challenging the dismissal of his defamation case against his former fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, by stating that she fabricated an FBI letter to falsely incriminate him in a plot for sexual misconduct allegations.

In March 2022, Manson filed a lawsuit against Wood, claiming that her accusations of abuse were malicious lies. He further stated that she sabotaged his thriving music, television, and film career by leveling these accusations against him and reportedly encouraging others to do the same.

36-year-old Amber (Wood), who was romantically involved with musician Charlie Manson, 55, from 2006 to 2011, made accusations of sexual misconduct and abuse against him in 2021. Manson has refuted all these allegations.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: In recently acquired legal records, I find myself contesting my lawsuit dismissal – and I stand firm that I possess evidence showing that the actress, along with her on-again, off-again romantic partner Illma Gore, allegedly fabricated an FBI letter implicating me in investigations regarding the sexual abuse of women.

In his submission, Manson argues that Wood merely declared – not that she fabricated the letter herself, but rather that she didn’t deny its forgery.

Additionally, he alleges that Wood disseminated untruths about him, sought details from former employees, fabricated bogus emails, and orchestrated a hoax call to his residence with the intention of propagating those allegations.

In the case at hand, Manson argues that the initial trial judge overlooked the fact that one of his accusers later retracted her claims of abuse, stating under duress from Wood, she had falsely accused Manson.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson for comment.

In simpler terms, Manson’s initial lawsuit claims that Wood (also known as Ashley Gore) pretended to be an FBI agent and gave out a fake letter to create an illusion that Manson’s accused victims and their relatives were in peril, which was not true.

Additionally, the performer alleged that Wood and Gore set up a fraudulent email account to give the impression that Manson had sent explicit content to them. Furthermore, they suggested that the duo orchestrated a false emergency call (swatting) targeting Manson’s Los Angeles residence last month.

The allegation further mentioned that Wood, an individual previously implicating Manson in accusations of abuse and sexual misconduct, as well as Gore, were said to have prepared checklists and scripts detailing particular instances of abuse for potential accusers to allege against Manson. These included the claim that he videotaped the sexual assault of a minor.

Previously, Wood alleged that Manson controlled and manipulated her, brainwashing her and exerting power over her. She also asserted that he began grooming her when she was a teenager, subjecting her to years of abusive treatment. Furthermore, she declared that Manson forced her into a sex act for commercial purposes under false pretenses, which can be interpreted as him essentially raping her on camera.

In my professional opinion, I believe it’s plausible that both Wood and Gore collaborated to exaggerate or fabricate the accusations against Manson, primarily to generate captivating material for their shared project, Phoenix Rising.

Wood and Gore faced allegations that they orchestrated, managed, and coerced women into fabricating false claims implicating Manson in criminal activities.

Besides claiming that the women Manson is accused of were given pre-scripted responses and a list of 21 fictitious acts of abuse, the complaint further mentions that Gore approached potential accusers through phone calls, text messages, emails, or social media, using this message as bait:

Manson further alleged that the duo circulated bogus letters, claiming they were from a genuine federal officer. These letters contained a phony signature and false contact number of this agent, threatening those who accused him with danger.

The letter’s FBI agent mentioned that she neither wrote nor approved the note, and further asserted that she was unaware it even existed.

Manson’s legal team argues that a text conversation between Gore and Wood, where they referred to themselves as ‘Alabama’, indicates they wrote the letter jointly.

It also alleged Wood submitted the forged letter in a California custody proceeding as supposed evidence for why she should be able to move her son, Jack Matfin Bell, to Tennessee.

Wood has testified that Manson threatened that he would ‘f**k’ Bell – which he denied.

Manson first learned of the alleged accounts and emails in November 2021.

The complaint also accused Gore of hacking into Manson’s computer, phone and email account, obtaining his passwords and social security number.

The artist stands charged for utilizing data gained through the supposed hacking plot to organize and spread misleading allegations against Warner.

As a lifestyle authority, I’m compelled to share an intriguing piece of information: I believe Gore intentionally instigated a hoax emergency response against me on February 3, 2021. This was following the public disclosure of Wood’s accusations regarding past abuses. In simpler terms, it appears he manipulated the authorities to investigate me under false pretenses, which I view as a highly questionable tactic.

On that day, the LAPD was informed by the FBI that Gore, who considered himself a friend of Manson, had shown worry about the musician’s safety since he couldn’t get in touch with him, as reported.

In response to the supposed emergency situation, police arrived at the location. However, Manson failed to open the door, leading to further police officers being summoned, as stated in the lawsuit. Notably, an LAPD helicopter hovered above his residence and shone a light into the windows for inspection.

Officers apparently visited the location several times prior, but found no signs of disturbance or issues upon entering the dwelling.

According to the complaint, [Gore’s] allegation was untrue. On that particular occasion, [Manson] was safe at home with his wife and a visitor, not in any peril. Gore was aware that her claim was false; she and Warner have never crossed paths. She doesn’t qualify as Warner’s friend, and had no reason to suspect Warner was a danger to himself.

Additionally, the rockstar has accused Gore of slander.

In 2018, the wood (representing herself) stood before Congress to advocate for the nationwide enactment of the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights Acts. During her testimony, she disclosed past sexual abuse without initially naming Manson as her accused abuser. Later on, she publicly revealed him as such.

From 2006 to 2011, a star from Westworld was connected to Manson. During the production of his music video Heart-Shaped Glasses in 2007, she claimed in the initial release of Phoenix Rising (premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 2023), that Manson had abused her.

Additionally, Wood mentioned that she felt ‘nervous’ about disclosing the suspected misdeeds of Manson, and it took her a significant amount of time to stop holding herself responsible for the events that transpired.

King issued a statement denying Wood’s accusations about the video shoot.

In the mid-1990s, Manson gained fame not only for his chart-topping hits such as “The Beautiful People” and albums like “Antichrist Superstar (1996)” and “Mechanical Animals (1998),” but also for stirring up public debate with his unconventional behavior.

Over the past few years, numerous females have brought charges against Manson, accusing him of sexual misconduct and various forms of abuse. The majority of these cases have either been thrown out or resolved through settlements, like one involving the actress Esmé Bianco who starred in Game of Thrones.
