Mariah Carey’s ex Nick Cannon says he’d ‘absolutely’ get back together with – but fears ‘she don’t want me’
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but be captivated by the rollercoaster ride that is Nick Cannon‘s love life. With twelve children spread across six different women, it’s like watching a modern-day soap opera unfold right before our eyes!
Despite parting ways over eight years back, Nick Cannon continues to harbor feelings for his ex-spouse, Mariah Carey.
In an interview with E! News on Tuesday, the 43-year-old Drumline star expressed his desire to reunite, stating emphatically that they were meant for each other. He playfully added that she was the one who slipped through his fingers.
When asked if he’d consider another relationship with her, he replied, ‘Definitely, yes. It would be foolish not to.’
Yet, the comedian openly acknowledged that he encountered a challenge when it came to his feelings about the 55-year-old celebrity.
‘She don’t want me,’ he said.
In a lighter and more conversational tone: Courtney Bee, his fellow Spades host and good friend, chimed in jokingly, saying, “Well, you took off and now you’ve got about ten kids!”
The man with twelve children, who not too long ago took five of them on an extraordinary outing to McDonald’s and Nobu, shared a hearty laugh with his friend as they both chuckled, commenting: “It feels like we’re dealing with a full baseball team, saying in unison, ‘You can’t return home.'”
Cannon, from San Diego, has a well blended family with children with six different women.
He shared that all his past relationships – with Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Bre Tiesi, LaNisha Cole, Alyssa Scott, and Mariah – have a remarkable friendship.
‘Everybody lives their own life, before me and after me,’ he said.
Based on my own experiences, I believe that maintaining harmony and smooth functioning in a group or society revolves around fostering self-reliance rather than fostering unnecessary concerns about others. In my journey through life, I have observed that individuals who are focused on their personal well-being tend to contribute more positively to the collective whole, as they are less likely to cause friction due to jealousy or resentment. This approach has proven effective in various aspects of my life, from team projects at work to social gatherings with friends and family.
In my perspective, ensuring the children’s happiness and their comprehensive understanding seems crucial to me. That, in my opinion, is the sensible way to go about things. One must always work from this standpoint.
Together with Mariah, Nick shared that their joint parenting phase was nearing its conclusion since their teenage twins had grown up.
He concluded by saying, “We’ll wrap things up shortly.” Reflecting on the situation, he added, “With these teens around, it feels like time is slipping away. I can hardly hold back the tears; everything is moving so quickly.”

They divorced with the girls were just four in 2015.
In 2017, he welcomed a son named Golden with beauty queen Brittany Bell, followed by the birth of their daughter, Powerful Queen, in 2020.
After that, Abby De La Rosa, a popular comedian and internet personality, welcomed her twin sons Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir in June of 2021. Later in the year 2022, she gave birth to her daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin.
In June 2021, he and model Alyssa Scott were blessed with a son named Zen. Unfortunately, Zen passed away at the tender age of five months due to brain cancer. Later, in December 2022, Alyssa gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Halo Marie.
Baby number eight, Legendary Love, was born to him and model Bre Tiesiin in June 2022.
Then Nick and model LaNisha Cole welcomed daughter Onyx Ice Cole in September of 2022.
