Mariah Carey snubs Meghan Markle after THAT ‘diva’ controversy in interview ahead of Sandringham show

During a recent, lively interview, Mariah Carey conspicuously overlooked Meghan Markle, revisiting a past strain between them dating back to a notable confrontation about being labeled a “diva,” which occurred three years ago.

56-year-old pop legend Carey was questioned about her encounters with the Royal family before her performance at King Charles’ Sandringham Estate; however, she appeared to have forgotten that she had previously met Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, aged 44, during their conversation on Meghan’s Archetypes podcast in 2022.

This week on Hits Radio, when asked about meeting the royals, a composed Carey casually mentioned that she found Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, to be “cool”.

On the contrary, Mariah promptly expressed her disagreement with the Duchess, stating firmly: “At times, you exhibit behavior akin to a diva, Meghan, let’s not forget this.

In response to the question about any “diva-like behavior” displayed, a surprised Meghan inquired, and the singer responded by saying something along the lines of “Don’t pretend like…”, followed by Meghan asking if the person could see her at that moment.

However, despite that, things were going wonderfully until that specific incident occurred, which undeniably left me stunned. When she referred to me as a diva.
