55-year-old holiday music icon delightfully showcased herself to over 13 million fans by posting a captivating slow-motion video set to her classic Christmas tune, “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.

The captivating vocalist adorned herself in a deep-red, plunging V-neck dress with long sleeves and matching gloves, all fitting snugly.

The number that closely followed the curve showcased a waist-wrapping style, highlighting the well-defined physique of the seasoned musician.

In a casual, simple manner: Carey, mother of 13-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan (with ex-husband Nick Cannon), posted, ‘Stepping into December as if…’

In a 2023 conversation with Parade, Carey opened up about the origins of her most significant single, a collaboration with 66-year-old Brazilian composer Walter Afanasieff, revealing its backstory.

As I reminisce, I find myself transported back to the past, specifically to an old house in Upstate New York, where my writing journey began on a compact DX7 or Casio keyboard tucked away in a small room.

At that moment, she explained, she was merely jotting down all the thoughts and ideas that evoked a sense of Christmas for her – things that brought forth a festive feeling. Her intention was to share these feelings with others as well.

Although many people claim that composing the melody required just 15 minutes, Mariah clarified that the actual recording process wasn’t as seamless.

She admitted that the process of creating the record required some time, as carefully layering the background vocals and other details isn’t something that can be done quickly, like within just five minutes.

She reiterated: ‘It’s literally impossible unless you had three choirs.’
