As a music enthusiast who’s been through the evolution of popular tunes since my teenage years on a dusty farm in rural Kentucky, I must say that this year’s American Music Awards (AMAs) lineup is nothing short of a symphony!
On Sunday night during the American Music Awards’ 50th Anniversary Special, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson, and Kate Hudson were among the notable personalities who took center stage.
Three extraordinary women gracefully stepped onto the red carpet at L.A. Center Studios in Los Angeles, each adorning a beautifully fitted and striking dress.
As soon as Mariah Carey, aged 55, arrived at the high-profile event, she struck poses for captivating photographs while flaunting her elegant style.
As always, I found myself captivated by her radiant beauty when she graced the stage in a stunning cream-colored dress, fitted to perfection with a sleek, strapless design and stylish black stripes tracing its sides.
She arranged her golden-honey locks into full, vintage Hollywood-style curls, pushing them gently to one side to accentuate her features.

She was bejeweled in a flashy diamond choker with a matching bracelet and dangling earrings.
In her makeup look, the artist behind “Touch My Body” went for a seductive cat-eye style accentuated by long, fluttering lashes, along with a shiny, natural lip color.
During the award celebration, Carey plans to perform some popular tracks from her The Emancipation of Mimi album, marking the 20th year since its platinum-selling debut.
EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson, 43, will be honoring the 22-time AMA winner Whitney Houston.
The singer was accompanied by Patricia Houston, who is both the late music legend’s sister-in-law and a close friend, as well as her long-term manager.
Both of them coordinated in fabulous, all-black ensembles.
Hudson put on a gown without straps, made of stretchy latex and adorned with sparkling jewels, which was see-through in parts. She also wore matching, snug latex gloves that went up to her elbows, similar to opera gloves.
Her elegant attire, complete with a long train that flowed behind her, caught everyone’s attention upon her arrival at the red carpet.

To enhance her striking presence, the actress pulled her hair back neatly into a streamlined ponytail and donned a seductive, smokey-eyed makeup style with a hint of darkness.
Kate Hudson, aged 45, was stunning on the red carpet in a silver-green gown reminiscent of moss, which featured a halter neckline as she gracefully strolled by.
The chic dress featured a mermaid-tail silhouette, which highlighted her fit physique.
As a diehard admirer, I’d sport my most striking attire, then slick back my long, golden locks into a cool, damp style. To complete the edge, I’d accentuate my eyes with a smoky, alluring shimmer.
For makeup, she also wore rosy and peachy blush with a glossy, nude pink lip.
She adorned herself with intricately twisted, braided bangle bracelets, paired with hoop earrings that echoed the same style, and a captivating ring bedecked with sparkling diamonds.
On the red carpet, she posed alongside Chaka Khan, 71.
In a stylish blend of edginess and sophistication, the Funk Queen wore a single-toned, dark-brown outfit adorned with shimmering metal chaps. Over it, she donned a sheer, lace top with a mock neckline and long sleeves.

She wore black leather boots and added a metallic touch with a circular belt buckle, along with vintage-style rings as accessories.
On the red carpet, Khan also posed for a photo alongside Sheila E., 66.
Together, the stylish duo will be performing on stage for the AMAs 50th Anniversary Special.
Lance Bass, 45, was also spotted on the red carpet and making his arrival in a dapper suit.
The well-known performer, previously known for being part of the group *NSYNC, showcased a stylish teal, tweed jacket paired with roomy pants in the same color, along with a black shirt fastened with buttons.
On the red carpet, he was also seen posing with AJ McLean, 46.
The lead vocalist of the Backstreet Boys was casually chic in a sparkling black shirt adorned with rhinestones, teamed with dark pants and shimmering silver boots.
He accessorized with a pearl necklace and orange-tinted, marble-inspired sunglasses.
Stray Kids members Changbin, Seungmin, I.N., Felix, Hyunjin, Lee Know, and Bang Chan were seen gracing a glamorous red carpet event in stylish, synchronized, edgy-chic, and all-black outfits.

Kane Brown, 30, looked effortlessly stylish as he arrived at the star-studded event.
The country singer donned a beige knit cardigan with white trousers and a guitar-inspired belt.
Billie Joe Armstrong, from Green Day, was seen on the red carpet wearing a fiery red jacket paired with a patterned t-shirt and black trousers.
He was joined by his bandmates Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool.

The upcoming two-hour broadcast, set to air live on CBS and stream on Paramount+, is a tribute to the American Music Awards as they reach their golden milestone, commemorating five decades of innovative music, memorable events, captivating performances, and a deep-rooted pop culture legacy.
The award ceremony, established by the renowned producer and innovative thinker, Dick Clark, was initially presented in the year 1974.
For the 50th anniversary special, Hollywood heavyweights including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Hudson and Jennifer Lopez are just a few of many stars taking the stage at the star-studded show.
Legendary singer Gladys Knight, who graced the stage at the inaugural American Music Awards back in 1974, is set to make a triumphant return and perform “Midnight Train to Georgia” once more.
Additional remarkable performances featured two-time AMA laureate Brad Paisley, paying tribute to the late Charley Pride – the inaugural recipient of the Country Male and Country Album AMA awards.
Paisley will also be performing his brand new single live for the very first time.
The star-studded lineup also include performances from Chaka Khan, Sheila E., Green Day, Kane Brown and many more.
Nelly will be joined by Chingy, J-Kwon, and members of St. Lunatics for a hip-hop medley.
Not only will Nile Rodgers and CHIC grace the stage, but RAYE is set to perform a cover version of the iconic James Brown hit “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World.
Instead, Stray Kids, renowned K-pop stars, will present a medley as a tribute to the enduring influence of boy bands, particularly NSYNC*.
