Mariah Carey looked fashionable on Thursday evening as she stepped out in Aspen, Colorado.
As a die-hard fan, I couldn’t help but marvel at the timeless elegance of the iconic 55-year-old vocalist, fresh off her festive Christmas Time tour. Adorning a delicate, light-hued knitted frock and coordinating leggings, she was an absolute vision.
The mother of two, who has 13-year-old fraternal twins with her former husband Nick Cannon, completed her look by wearing a vibrant, apple-red jacket featuring four handy pockets upfront.
She elevated the ensemble with a pair of brown, suede, knee-high boots with a heel.
And the songstress complemented the look with a pair of retro-inspired, red, aviator sunglasses.
Her loose, casual bun kept her golden hair bundled, while soft strands framed her face at the front.
Underneath her sunglasses, Carey had a radiant and well-balanced skin tone. To complete her makeup, she applied a shiny, natural-toned lipstick.
On Thursday, the popular singer posted a cheerful video on Instagram, showing her trying to wrap a present.
I captivated my online community, clad in a soft white bathrobe, nestled before a lavishly adorned Christmas tree.
Mariah began the video by sharing that they were preparing some presents, following which she unveiled a pair of white, fake fur earmuffs.
The hitmaker expressed that this task is far from his preference, stating, “I’d rather not be the one responsible for it.” He was hesitantly concealing the object with a less than perfect wrap of the paper.
She made it clear that she’d be happy to purchase the gifts, and it’s not because she thinks herself superior to gift-wrapping; rather, it’s simply because she’s not skilled at wrapping presents.
Later on, the performer chuckled and said again, “I don’t fancy doing this,” followed by, “By the way, those scissors are colossal!

The Fantasy hitmaker just wrapped her Christmas Time tour, with her son Moroccan and daughter Monroe hitting the stage with her on the final night in NYC.
The announcement for the tour came in August, marking the 30-year milestone of her evergreen Christmas song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.
The first show was on November 6 in Highland, California, and the closing concert was December 17 in Brooklyn.
Mariah’s setlist was rounded out with 26 songs and the concert was around 90 minutes-long.
