Maria Shriver Reacts to Son Patrick’s Nude Scene in The White Lotus

Maria Shriver expressed genuine joy over her son Patrick Schwarzenegger landing a notable role as the affluent Saxon Ratliff in the third season of HBO’s hit series, The White Lotus, produced by Max.

Spectators were taken aback during the recent debut when they witnessed a 31-year-old actor, who some might label as a “nepo baby,” strip for an unconventional scene that hinted at familial intimacy with his younger brother Lochlan (Sam Nivola).

However, on February 10th at LA’s Paramount Theatre, the former First Lady of California, aged 69, maintained an upward gaze to avoid looking down while observing Patrick’s performance.

According to Maria, she responded to her children saying, “I didn’t notice it. What are you talking about?” as she shared with People magazine on the weekend.

Shriver added: “He made me feel genuinely joyful because of his dedication. For over a decade, he’s persistently attended classes and tirelessly worked towards his goals. He aimed to climb the ladder on his own terms, and indeed, he has managed to do so.

The two-time Emmy-winning producer said Schwarzenegger’s success onscreen ‘actually makes me cry.’

In January 2024, Maria was deeply moved when she learned that the actor portraying Aaron Hernandez in American Sports Story had been cast as the wealthy North Carolina financier’s son under FBI investigation, which was played by Jason Isaacs.
