Margot Robbie stuns in sheer look as she giddily talks about kissing hunk Jacob Elordi who admitted to ‘mutual obsession’

Margot Robbie cheerfully talked about kissing her co-star, Jacob Elordi, during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday.

The 35-year-old Australian actress looked stunning in a see-through black lace dress while appearing on the show to promote her new romantic movie, Wuthering Heights, alongside her co-star, age 28.

The conversation turned to kissing after Kimmel pointed out the film contains a significant amount of sexual content, reflecting director Emerald Fennell’s interpretation of Emily Brontë’s famous novel.

Kimmel asked if the book contained a lot of sexual content. Robbie responded that Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, the characters she and Elordi play, don’t even share a kiss in the original story.

Kimmel jokingly acknowledged the comment, and the Barbie star playfully confirmed they share a lot of kisses. She previously mentioned having a ‘codependent’ relationship with Elordi while smiling.

Kimmel mentioned they kissed ‘all over the property,’ and the woman confirmed, ‘We kiss everywhere, a lot!’

Oh my gosh, Robbie—married to the amazing Tom Ackerley, by the way, he’s 35—she actually said the Valentine’s Day release date wasn’t an accident! It was totally on purpose, a really deliberate decision. I knew they were geniuses! It just makes everything even more perfect, honestly.

The Oscar nominee shared that she recently watched the film with a number of her female friends.

Spending a night out with my girlfriends, maybe having a few drinks, would definitely be fun.

After mentioning women could enjoy the movie with their significant others, Kimmel playfully added, ‘And then you can ask your partner why they aren’t as romantic as Jacob Elordi on the drive home!’

You know, Robbie and I were just talking about this, and it hit me – I’m a little worried that everyone might start judging their partners unfairly after seeing Heathcliff. It’s funny, because Catherine actually married Edgar Linton, and he wasn’t nearly as exciting! I’m just afraid people will compare their own boyfriends and husbands to this fictional, intense character and it won’t be fair to them.

I’m a little worried this might cause some arguments. I suspect a lot of guys will start asking their partners if they’re seen as passionate and intense like Heathcliff, or more reserved and practical like Edgar, referencing the characters from ‘Wuthering Heights’.

‘And I don’t know if they wanna hear the answer,’ she quipped.

Then someone will inevitably ask, “Okay, but who is your Heathcliff?”” Robbie continued, explaining this shortly after starting filming – only three months after having her son.

Jimmy Kimmel jokingly confessed he’d always felt like ‘Edgar,’ even suggesting his wife might have called him that. Rob commented that ‘Edgar’ is a really positive trait.

It comes days after Robbie confessed to being ‘codependent’ with her co-star.

Okay, so I totally get way too attached to the people I work with – I just adore everyone! It’s awful, but I’m genuinely heartbroken whenever a project wraps, like I never want it to be over. It happened fast with Jacob, too – I was instantly so invested and, honestly, obsessed with working with him. I just… really, really love being part of a team and it kills me when it’s done.

Okay, so here’s what happened on set, as I understand it. Someone – either Emerald or Jacob Elordi himself – had him subtly positioned near me those first few days. It wasn’t direct, you know? He’d be around, but always off to the side, just…watching Cathy. It was definitely noticeable, a little odd, and something I remember vividly.

As the cast was laughing, Fennell, 40, added, ‘I didn’t ask him to do that – I actually had to ask him to leave.’

By the third day of shooting, Robbie admitted she began constantly watching to see where he was.

She described feeling deeply unsettled and lost when Elordi wasn’t there, comparing it to a child losing a comforting security blanket.

Meanwhile Elordi admitted they have a ‘mutual obsession‘ with each other.

The actor known for playing Frankenstein said he deliberately stayed at least 10 meters away from the actress who played Barbie throughout their time together.

‘We have a mutual obsession,’ he said during the interview, as Robbie sat nearby.

Honestly, no matter what the movie is about, working with Margot Robbie is such a great experience that you’ll want to be close by on set the whole time.

He observed her carefully – the way she held her teacup, how she ate, every little detail. He kept waiting for something to go wrong, for her composure to break, but it never did, he noted.

Elsewhere, the Saltburn star shared more behind the scenes secrets.

There was a feeling, even during rehearsals, that we truly connected with the characters’ love story. I remember a moment, perhaps while preparing a scene of them running across the moors, where we made eye contact, and it felt like we were them, experiencing their connection firsthand.

I’m so excited for this new film! It’s got a fantastic cast, including Shazad Latif, Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Charlotte Mellington, and Owen Cooper. What’s even cooler is that it’s being produced by Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment – they were behind Barbie and Saltburn last year, which I absolutely loved! Robbie runs the production company with her husband, Tom, and they just welcomed a baby boy last October, which is wonderful news!

Wuthering Heights is set to hit theaters February 13.
