Margot Robbie has shared that her new film, based on ‘Wuthering Heights,’ will be significantly more explicit than the original novel, especially with her co-star Jacob Elordi.

Margot, a 35-year-old Australian actress, stars with Jacob, 28, who is also Australian, in the upcoming romantic movie everyone is excited about.

Emerald Fennell directs a new, sensual take on Emily Bronte’s classic story, arriving in theaters on February 13th.

I’ve been following the discussions around Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights closely, and even before it was published, people were already upset! A lot of the worry seemed to center around Cathy being so young – she’s really just a teenager in the story. But the biggest controversy, as I understand it, was about Heathcliff being described as having dark skin. It caused quite a stir even back then!

When asked about how she approaches romantic scenes, Margot Robbie told PEOPLE she doesn’t change her preparation at all. She explained that the movie itself requires a lot from everyone involved.

My character is often crying throughout the story, but it was actually a really fun role to play. I enjoyed portraying someone who experiences such intense and rapid shifts in emotion.

Margot recently stepped onto the premiere’s black carpet wearing a bold and sheer dress by Dilara Findikoglu. The gown featured a Victorian-inspired corset and unique green details crafted from braided hair and vintage Boucheron brooches.

The actress revealed she was wearing a copy of a bracelet once owned by Charlotte Brontë. It was believed to be crafted from the hair of her sisters, Emily and Anne, and served as the design inspiration for her dress.

Before the movie comes out, Margot and Jacob have shown off their strong connection and obvious attraction at several red carpet events.

Let me tell you, working with Margot Robbie on set was an experience! I was really focused on making sure she felt comfortable and safe, so I actually kept within about 10 meters of her at all times. It just felt like the right way to support her and ensure everything ran smoothly.

He joked that if you ever get to work on a movie with Margot Robbie, you’ll naturally want to stay close by – within a few metres – the whole time.
