Margot Robbie is upstaged by her crying 10-month-old son during interview: ‘That’s my baby!’

Margot Robbie has been sweetly upstaged by her baby son. 

During a recent chat with Access Hollywood, the interview was momentarily interrupted by Margot’s 10-month-old baby crying, causing the focus to shift from her new film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” to her little one instead.

‘I’m so sorry by the way for how loud my baby is,’ Margot, whose son was off camera, said.  

‘It’s a great soundtrack isn’t it? Great soundtrack!’ her co-star Colin Farrell, 49, chimed in.

During the conversation, Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans momentarily interrupted and then continued, expressing their excitement over Margot welcoming her new role as a mother.

Apologies, Scott momentarily interrupted our chat, for in that instant, I couldn’t help but exclaim silently, “Ah, isn’t there a piece of you that just swells with pride, seeing your creation unfold like that?” (age 35)

She exclaimed, “Every single time I wish to go, it’s like I’m declaring, ‘That’s mine! That’s mine!'” Then, turning to Colin, she added, “You’ve been present as he’s been growing.

Margot and her husband Tom Ackerley welcomed their baby boy in October 2024.

In the previous week, she shared her thoughts for the first time on the experience of motherhood, referring to it as ‘simply remarkable’ during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

She said that explaining something to a parent is unnecessary because they understand without needing an explanation, and if they don’t, the explanation might not hold their interest.

‘So, it’s kind of like, “It’s the best,” you know?’ the actress added.

The two new parents are said to be over the moon with their son.

‘They’re so happy.’

In July, it became known that Margot was pregnant. Towards the end of August, the couple took a romantic getaway, which they referred to as their ‘babymoon’, to the island of Sardinia in Italy.

The couple welcomed their son in October, and have yet to reveal their child’s name.

In the year 2016, they tied the knot and jointly produce several ventures, including the Hulu series “Dollface,” under their production company named LuckyChap Entertainment.

On the previous Wednesday, Margot and her co-star Colin gracefully attended a media event for the film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” in Los Angeles, where Margot looked particularly captivating.

At the affair held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, the actress opted for a see-through yet stylish mini dress with a built-in corset for its attire.

In simpler terms, the film narrates the tale of Sarah (played by Robbie) and David (portrayed by Farrell). They cross paths for the first time at a wedding of a common friend, and before you know it, they find themselves embarking on an extraordinary journey through significant events from their past.

Sony Pictures unveiled the initial trailer in June, featuring a movie about two individuals embarking on an unusual voyage through their respective pasts.

In the heart of the woods, they stumble upon an enigmatic door that acts as a gateway to their personal histories. As they traverse through it, they revisit their fundamental experiences, such as David’s longing for a love that was never returned and Sarah’s heart-wrenching moment of losing her mother.

In addition to the main cast, the movie features Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Billy Magnussen, and Jodie Turner-Smith. It’s set to premiere in cinemas on September 19.

Enthusiasts have been pouring out compliments for the film following its initial trailer release, and some have even dubbed it as the “best film of the year” already.

Even though Margot declared her intention to take a break from acting in 2023, she’s found herself quite occupied nonetheless.

Beyond just being a part of “A Grand, Bold, and Majestic Voyage,” I’ve also had the privilege of joining forces with the extraordinary Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights reinterpretation, directed by the brilliant Emerald Fennell. Margot is also producing the classic via her production company LuckyChap Entertainment.

Earlier, the actress from The Suicide Squad had mentioned that after achieving success with her starring role in Barbie, she intended to take a break from acting.

In an interview with Deadline, she mentioned that following decades of honing her acting skills, her plan was to focus on roles behind the camera instead.

Instead, she mentioned that she felt it was time for a pause from acting in films, given the possibility that audiences might be growing tired of her, following her acclaimed performance in Greta Gerwig’s hit movie.

She mentioned that it seems like everyone might be tired of seeing her at the moment, so perhaps it would be best if she took a break and stayed off-screen for a while.

Directly stating it: ‘To be honest, releasing another film right away might lead to criticism like, “She’s back already? We’ve had enough of her for the whole summer. We need a break.” At the moment, I’m unsure about my next move, but I’d prefer to wait a bit before coming back.’
