As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say Maren Morris is truly embracing her new chapter with grace and discernment. Her approach to dating post-divorce, particularly her use of Raya, showcases a woman who is not only open to new experiences but also values her personal growth and self-discovery.

Maren Morris is dating again following her divorce from Ryan Hurd in January.

In her latest chat, the contentious pop-country sensation openly disclosed her membership in the exclusive celebrity dating platform Raya. She also expressed surprise upon encountering another notable figure on the app, although she declined to reveal their identity.

During Pride Month, Morris didn’t reveal the gender of the famous individual they are dating, as they identified themselves as bisexual this year.

Morris, 34, shared on the Armchair Expert podcast that he is embarking on a new romantic journey, as this is his first time dating genuinely.

When Shepard inquired whether she was a member of Raya, the exclusive dating platform for famous individuals and influential personalities, she admitted that indeed, she was part of it.

She agreed and the hosts inquired about showing them her app profile first, rather than immediately discussing if she had come across any famous personalities’ profiles while scrolling through numerous options.

‘Yeah, a few times. It’s kind of shocked me,’ the Highwomen singer said.

Additionally, I find comfort in the fact that I’m among the choices presented. It was reassuring to see that the other person was included as well.

Maren wasn’t able to disclose who she encountered through the app, Raya, since it strictly prohibits taking screenshots and revealing the identities of its users.

In an interview with People last month, the singer from My Church shared more details about her romantic experiences.

The Grammy Award winner said she’s looking for ‘a spectacularly impressive individual.’

She stated that constantly investing oneself in another person might not be a healthy approach, as it tends to alter expectations, power dynamics, and sense of entitlement quite significantly.

Morris emphasized that he needs to give his all (100%) and for someone to truly make a positive impact on his life, they would need to be exceptional, as he is deeply content with the life he has created for himself.

From 2018 up until their divorce was finalized in January, she and Hurd (age 37) were husband and wife. They are proud parents to a 4-year-old named Hayes Andrew.

Morris expressed, “I hold a deep affection for my profession, my child, my residence, and my companions. These are the aspects that truly matter to me, and they’re all self-created.

I’ll consider welcoming someone into my life only if they add value or positivity to it, not detract. They should neither deplete my resources (in terms of money, feelings, or beliefs), in any possible way.

Morris underscores the importance of being well-organized and composed if one wishes to be involved in his life at present.

The artist from The Humble Quest mentioned that she needs to ‘guard her feelings,’ and further explained, ‘It seems there’s less compulsion to create sparks or excitement; instead, it feels like I’m experiencing the joy of dating for the very first time.’

Morris clarified that so far, nothing extraordinary or unexpected has taken place; it’s more about maintaining composure with the situation being manageable yet challenging. He added that he’s had the opportunity to interact with a new person and establish a connection through dialogue, which turned out to be more difficult than one might initially assume.

She raved it’s the ‘perfect moment to be dating,’ adding, ‘My rules are just you have to be really spectacular to push me over.’

Morris described this experience as both thrilling exploration and the sorrow of a lost connection, but also the delight found during the recovery from such a difficult event, be it a trauma or tragedy.
