As a dedicated fan of Jake Trbojevic and his illustrious career, witnessing his beautiful wedding to Alix Waddell was nothing short of a dream come true! The picturesque ceremony in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by lush greenery and a charming ambiance, made for an unforgettable setting.

Jake Trbojevic and Alix Waddell are man and wife. 

The Manly Sea Eagles star and his gorgeous fiancée walked down the aisle at a picturesque ceremony in the Hunter Valley on Saturday. 

They got married outdoors in the New South Wales wine country, where the bride looked breathtaking in a wedding dress designed by Marry Me Bridal based in Mosman.

The gown boasted delicate straps, an enchanting heart-shaped neckline, and a partially see-through material adorned with pretty floral stitching.

She donned delicate earrings and a sleek bracelet, pushing her golden tresses away from her face, leaving behind some loosened, wavy strands.

A long veil was pinned into her bun and flowed behind her while opting for a clean makeup look with lined eyes and a nude, matte lipstick.

Jake meanwhile was dapper in a classic black tuxedo paired with a white shirt and bowtie.  

‘Best day ever,’ the newlyweds captioned an Instagram post after their big day. 

Among the guests were Jake’s teammate James Tedesco and his brothers Tom and Ben. 

The outdoor festivities featured a banner that said “Welcome to our love tale,” with attendees seated beneath verdant trees while the pair recited their vows.

A gravel road was lined with white blooms which matched the bride’s bouquet of flowers.  

The bride was seen laughing happily during the ceremony before the pair shared a sweet smooch. 

At the wedding, it seemed that Jake penned his personalized vows, causing his bride to chuckle as he recited them into a microphone.

After the ceremony, guests mingled outside and enjoyed glasses of champagne to celebrate.

The freshly wedded pair found themselves seated at a table adorned with a crisp white cloth, raising their glasses in celebration as they began the next exciting phase of their lives together.

In February, the pair publicly declared their engagement online, which ignited a flood of congratulations from the football community.

The rugby league star took to Instagram too announce the exciting news at the time.

Together with his girlfriend, the 30-year-old rugby league player posted multiple photos featuring him and his newly engaged partner on social media.

The couple smiled in the photos, with Alix showing off her engagement ring.

‘We’re engaged!’ they shared in the caption, alongside an emoji of a ring.

Trbojevic’s former Manly teammate Corey Waddell, and his fiancee’s brother, was quick to respond.

‘The best! So happy for you both. Congrats!’ Waddell wrote.

Teammate Aaron Woods responded to the pair, ‘Best ever cobber congratulations legends’.

Footballers James Tedesco, Damien Cook and Cameron Murray also passed on their regards.

The joyful announcement about an engagement between Reuben Garrick, a teammate of Manly, and his long-time partner Riley Wishart was made not long ago, followed by some positive news.
