Man, 78, and woman, 68, are found dead in mansion owned by legendary filmmaker Rob Reiner as police launch homicide investigation

Police have found two people dead at the home of filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, according to reports.

Police sources have confirmed that the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were found at a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, an area known for being home to many celebrities.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m following the news closely, and it’s incredibly sad to report that the Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a homicide at a home in the area. Detectives from their Robbery Homicide division are on the case, and I understand there was a significant police presence at the scene on Sunday evening. ABC7 News reported that the authorities are treating this as a criminal investigation.

Although the names of the two people who died haven’t been released yet, their ages match those of Reiner, who is 78, and his wife, Michele Singer, who is 68.

According to NBCLA, Reiner and his wife both live in and own the home.

The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Reiner for comment.

News reports say that paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department were called to a mansion on Chadbourne Avenue at 3:38 PM.

Shortly after arriving at the location, Los Angeles Fire Department personnel requested the Los Angeles Police Department to investigate a death that occurred within an ambulance.
