Mama June’s daughter Pumpkin, 24, ‘is divorcing’ husband Josh Efird with whom she has four children… after getting engaged at 16 and wed at 18
As a dedicated fan who has followed Pumpkin’s journey since her reality TV debut, I must admit this news has left me quite stunned. Six years of marriage, four beautiful children, and now, it seems, they are parting ways. It’s a bittersweet reminder that even the strongest bonds can sometimes fray.
It appears that Pumpkin, Mama June’s daughter, is said to be ending her six-year marriage with Josh Efird through a divorce.
On Friday morning, it was reported by TMZ that these reality television personalities submitted divorce papers in Wilkinson County, Georgia, earlier this week.
The couple share four children: Ella, Bentley, and twins Sylus and Stella.
According to the source, they’ve previously agreed, through a legal contract, to share custody due to their belief that this arrangement is most beneficial for their children, since their marriage is beyond repair.
She got engaged at 16 to Joshua and they wed when she was 18. In 2015 she came out as bisexual.
The last time she shared a photo of her husband on Instagram was in 2023.
Pumpkin’s parents are June Shannon – aka Mama June – and Michael Anthony Ford.
In the absence of Alana’s biological mother, Mama June, who’s been busy partying, Pumpkin (Alana) has taken on a nurturing role similar to that of a mother figure.
In the year 2019, I took the step to become Alana’s legal guardian when her mom and her mom’s partner, Geno, were detained due to drug-related allegations.
