Make your Final Fantasy real in TEKKEN 8 matches: With these items
As a long-time fan of both Final Fantasy and TEKKEN, I must say that this collaboration has truly made my day! Being able to bring characters like Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI into TEKKEN 8 is simply fantastic. And let me tell you, the cosmetics on offer are nothing short of breathtaking – especially the Nectar the Bold item, which I find absolutely adorable!
It feels pretty great to start with the Final Fantasy XVI items from the TEKKEN 8 Shop and then shift toward Clive Rosfield.
In the upcoming TEKKEN 8, a significant partnership will debut, which will undoubtedly bring joy to Final Fantasy enthusiasts. Soon, a character from the latest Final Fantasy series will be incorporated into the game. Moreover, the TEKKEN 8 in-game store will be expanded with two sets of cosmetics inspired by Final Fantasy, adding variety to your shopping choices.
Clive Rosfield may not be identical to Tifa, but he shares similar fighting skills and has a resemblance reminiscent of Miguel. Additionally, using Final Fantasy XVI’s character-customizing items, you can mimic the looks of two additional characters.
Final Fantasy XVI items in TEKKEN 8: Two sets of items
In TEKKEN 8, you’ll find two Collaboration Packs available. These packs come with a variety of goodies for character customization such as outfits (clothing) and Avatar skins, along with Tekken Balls.
After TEKKEN 8 was awarded as the Best Fighting Game of 2024, the reveal of the Final Fantasy XVI packages followed shortly after.
Joshua Rosfield: TEKKEN 8 items
In the world of gaming, the protagonist of Final Fantasy XVI temporarily steps into TEKKEN 8’s arena, donning a costume for Leo. The joint project with Joshua Rosfield offers players three distinct items.
- Undying Red — a costume that copies the outfit of Joshua Rosfield
- Nectar the Bold — a simply wonderful character customization item
- Red Bomb King — a TEKKEN ball
Jill Warrick: TEKKEN 8 items
In the context of TEKKEN 8, it’s Lili’s job to introduce one major Final Fantasy XVI character by assuming the identity of Jill Warrick. This collaboration package includes the following items:
- Icy Blue — a costume of Jill Warrick for Lili
- Clive — an avatar skin. It’s based on Clive Rosfield
- Red Bomb King — another version of TEKKEN ball
When does TEKKEN 8 get Final Fantasy XVI items?
In TEKKEN 8, you’ll find the Final Fantasy collaboration packs starting from the December 17 update. Visit the in-game store to explore these exciting deals!
Upon starting TEKKEN 8, players are immediately made aware of the introduction of fresh features, ensuring that they won’t overlook the additions associated with Final Fantasy XVI.
Are Final Fantasy XVI items worth it?
It’s fantastic that the crossover items for TEKKEN 8 and Final Fantasy XVI include outfits that resemble famous characters. I particularly like the design of Nectar the Bold, who seems adorable!
However, while TEKKEN players might anticipate a wider range of possibilities, Final Fantasy provides almost limitless opportunities, yet only offers two costumes instead.
500 Tekken Coins equates to a $5 package. This might appeal more to dedicated fans of the Final Fantasy series, as casual players may find little reason to make such a purchase if they’re not familiar with the characters or don’t hold them in high regard.
