Major international artist set to perform at 2025 Logie Awards alongside Guy Sebastian

A renowned global artist is now on the invite list for the 2025 TV WEEK Logie Awards, set to perform alongside a homegrown talent.

On August 3, renowned artist Richard Marx, best known for his global sales of over 30 million albums and iconic ’80s songs like ‘What About Me?’ and ‘Right Here Waiting,’ is set to take the stage at The Star Sydney.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be performing a collection of my timeless classics alongside the talented Aussie sensation, Guy Sebastian. He’s also gracing the stage with his brand-new single, Get It Done.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to perform on Australian TV’s grandest night of festivities. I can hardly contain my excitement as I prepare to offer a unique, memorable experience for both the audience at home and those in attendance.

In addition, Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes is set to lead the concert with an extensive playlist encompassing his most popular songs from over four decades.

Jimmy, with 21 top-selling albums and an esteemed spot in the ARIA Hall of Fame, expressed his eagerness to kick off the festivities at this year’s award ceremony.

‘I am excited about playing at the Logies, television’s big night of nights,’ the 69-year-old said.

After more than three decades portraying Irene Roberts on the television series Home and Away, Lynne McGranger has been long-awaitedly nominated for a Gold Logie award, recognizing her dedication.

Sharing on Instagram, the 72-year-old Australian celebrity expressed excitement about a significant achievement in her career and encouraged followers to cast their votes.

‘Well this is some fabulous news to get while I’m away!!’ she wrote.

I’m absolutely delighted to have been nominated for the Silver Logie in the Best Lead Actress in a Drama category, and I’m equally excited about the prestigious Gold Logie nomination!

Voting is now open and will remain so until 7pm on Friday August 1.

The ceremony will be available to watch on Seven and 7Plus.
