A recent post indicates that in Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again, the character played by Matthew Lillard, Mr. Charles, is associated with Val, hinting at a possible link to the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Neither Marvel Studios nor reliable sources involved in production have confirmed this information. The claim originated from the social media account @MyTimeToShineHello, but without any proof or evidence from the production itself. While Season 3 has been renewed and could potentially explain things, the character’s appearance in Season 2 means the connection could be revealed sooner.
Matthew Lillard is joining the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 as a character named Mr. Charles, set to appear when the season premieres on March 24th. Lillard describes his character as having a mysterious and watchful personality, similar to the Cheshire Cat, meaning he’s more likely to observe than directly engage in conflict (according to Entertainment Weekly).
