Dive into the fan-favorite game mode, now reimagined in Magic Chess: Go Go

By now, I assume you’re familiar with Magic Chess: Go Go, which is a well-liked strategy game that takes place within the universe of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Similar to the beloved Magic Chess mode from MLBB, this independent game has been generating excitement in anticipation of its global release after gaining popularity in the APAC region.

The goal here was to make it more conversational and friendly while keeping the essence of the original tweet.

If you’re not acquainted with the game, it essentially involves you participating in combat simulations akin to chess using characters from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. You engage against seven other players. I find this thrilling and enjoyable player-versus-player confrontation, where you fight each other progressively until there’s only one left standing.

I’m genuinely excited for the global release of the new version since I’ve invested a lot of time into the original mode of MLBB. It’s heartening to witness its expansion, having garnered over 20 million pre-registrations and 15 million downloads in APAC region alone. Nevertheless, I can’t help but feel a tinge of sadness as Magic Chess is set to be discontinued in MLBB.

Season 2, Blessing of Embers, will launch simultaneously in the previously released APAC region

For APAC players who’ve been eagerly waiting, we have fantastic news! The game, which debuted in February 2025, is set to release Season 2 simultaneously with the global launch. Titled “Blessing of Embers,” this new season will ignite a battle between Gods and Demons, introducing fresh Synergies, potent buffs, and innovative systems.

If you’re unfamiliar, Synergies function as bonus abilities for teams, triggering when you place characters from the same faction on the battlefield. This season introduces six brand-new Synergies, and to sweeten the deal, the classic Blessing mechanic from the original version will be introduced too!

I’m excited to reach the Ultra Synergy level, a feat that requires triggering 10 synergies altogether. To help you achieve this, consider grouping together six heroes belonging to the same faction and utilizing the benefits of Blessings and Magic Crystals.

Magic Chess: Go Go, an exciting new chess game, is scheduled for a worldwide debut on Android and iOS platforms on May 28, 2025. Pre-registration for this captivating game is now open! You can sign up through the Google Play Store or App Store to secure your spot.
