‘MAGA Barbie’ Savannah Chrisley talks undergoing liposuction after 40lb weight gain and rhinoplasty horror

Savannah Chrisley opened up about cosmetic surgery on the latest episode of her Unlocked podcast.

27-year-old television personality with platinum hair – known for getting close to President Donald Trump in order to secure a pardon for her parents serving time in prison – recently had an open discussion with her cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Charlie Galanis, about the reasons behind her liposuction procedure.

She reminisced about the struggles she faced with endometriosis, which ultimately led her to undergo surgery. She explained, “I tried a particular medication that caused me to gain an astonishing 40 pounds in just three months. It was absolutely insane. And I had to participate in a campaign photoshoot, but I disliked the way I appeared.

In my commitment to health awareness, I’d like to share some insights about a condition known as Endometriosis. This health issue arises when the tissue that typically lines the inside of a woman’s uterus grows outside of it, affecting approximately one out of every ten women.

Chrisley also spoked about the terrible rhinoplasty that left her nose crooked. 

In the episode named ‘Be Curious, Not Judgmental’, Chrisley pointed out that a more expensive doctor isn’t necessarily one who provides superior outcomes.

She shared that she had a cosmetic procedure on her nose performed by a well-known surgeon in Beverly Hills. However, when the procedure was completed, she found that the result was slightly crooked.

She expressed her concerns, saying, “This doesn’t seem right,” before revealing that she took it to “a friend of my father’s to get it repaired.

Now, she says about her nose, ‘I love it, looks great.’

She underscored the point that ‘even if [the cost of plastic surgery] seems reasonable, or even if [the surgeon] has worked on well-known celebrities,’ it does not automatically mean that the outcome will be satisfactory.

The former star of Chrisley Knows Best did not specify the exact date of her liposuction procedure, only mentioning it occurred some time in the past. She also emphasized that the process transpired quickly, with the surgery taking place only a week following her remote consultation.

‘I visited Beverly Hills accompanied by my mom [Julie Chrisley]. We both went through a surgery together. Looking back, I recalled feeling extremely uncomfortable and disliking my appearance.’

She mentioned that when you dislike your appearance, it affects not only your physical well-being, but also your emotional and mental state.

Post-procedure, Savannah regained her confidence.

Based on my own experience, having liposuction left me feeling similar to when someone who’s lost weight looks at themselves in the mirror and appreciates the change – it inspired me to make healthier lifestyle choices.

She exclaimed, “Wow! I really want to continue this,” she shared about the transformative experience, expressing her desire for its continuation.

And she said she looked like a ‘totally different human being’ afterward. 

In the year 2022, Savannah’s parents, Todd (age 56) and Julie Chrisley (age 52), were found guilty of masterminding a multi-million dollar bank fraud and tax evasion scam.

Previously, they had been given prison terms lasting several years. However, in May, President Donald Trump granted them clemency, likely moved by their daughter’s persistent efforts urging their release.

At a press event held in Nashville, Tennessee, during the month of May, the public figure vehemently countered criticisms and passionately advocated for her relentless attempts to secure the release of her parents.

She stated to numerous media outlets, “Clearly, the most common misunderstanding at present is that I acquired a pardon by paying for it or by sleeping on it.

She explained, ‘The most widespread misunderstanding at present is that it simply takes showing up unannounced in Washington D.C., investing countless hours, money, and time, without a scheduled meeting, just to board a plane and go. I believed that being in the right place at the right time would lead me to meet the right people…’ She concluded.
