MAFS Villain Harrison Boon Takes Savage Swipe at ‘Attention Seeking’ Ex-Cast, Fans Go Wild
Harris Boone, a past participant on Married At First Sight, made a sharp remark directed towards his fellow ex-cast members as the series’ twelfth season commences.
In the 2023 season, Harrison was given the role of the antagonist, working alongside actress Bronte Schofield.
On his Instagram story on Wednesday, prior to the airing of the third episode in the 2025 season, Harrison posted a humorous video subtly poking fun at certain ex-stars from “Married at First Sight” who seek excessive publicity.
He shared a clip that showed him speaking to camera from inside his car.
With a touch of mischief, Harrison playfully pointed out his reality TV peers in a humorous video that mimicked a charity appeal, as heartfelt music filled the air.
‘I see a lot of posts in thee media about the new season of MAFS,’ a stoic Harrison began the clip.
After that, he swiftly pointed out the tendency of certain reality TV stars to utilize the most recent season of “Married at First Sight” as a way to regain relevance.
However, let me seize this moment to reiterate our focus. Indeed, we are referring to the former participants of Married at First Sight once more.
It seems you’re unaware, but we truly crave that attention. Absent it, some of us might be compelled to participate in society and possibly secure a regular occupation.” He jokingly stumbled over the term ‘occupation’.
He ended the post with a desperate call to action to reality show fans.
‘Please, reach out to a previous MAFS participant,’ Harrison pleaded.
‘Like and share one of their posts. For every like you give you could save a life.’
In an effort to avoid responses from past colleagues, Harrison’s remark sparked a burst of fan reactions instead.
Harrison also made a jest about the program itself when someone inquired, “Why did you appear on a show you seem to despise so intensely.
‘Obviously I didn’t dislike it before I went on it,’ he replied
As an ardent spectator, I must confess that despite not being a die-hard supporter of Harrison on MAFS, I couldn’t help but find pure comedic gems in his posts!
‘Ffs. I couldn’t stand you on there, but this is comedy gold,’ they wrote.
During the show “Married at First Sight,” Dean Wells, who is often seen as a villain, seemed to enjoy Harrison’s humor, expressing it by saying “Bahahah.
Yet another fan added: ‘Love this…..they’re all crawling out of their caves craving the attention.’
Harrison kept the digs going with his reply: ‘Makes me cringe every time I see it.’
Previously married participant gained popularity during the tenth season of Married at First Sight. He became well-known for being matched with Bronte Schofield, and more recently, he expressed opinions about his portrayal as a villain in the show.
In 2023, he shared with Daily Mail Australia that he typically avoids confrontations and arguments in his daily routine, opting instead for a more peaceful approach.
‘It’s not who I am. I just want to get along with people and make the most out of life.’
Last April, Harrison stirred up a significant online commotion by labeling a group of Married at First Sight brides as “unsuitable for marriage.
Other “Married at First Sight” cast members alleged that he displayed misogynistic behavior, following his use of an offensive term and sharing comments about a potentially risky dating period for women of specific ages.
Instead of posting directly on Instagram, Harrison decided to publicize screenshots of some past Married at First Sight brides’ dating profiles and their updates on locating a compatible partner, which included the profiles of his TV ‘former spouse’ Bronte and Sandy Jawanda as well.
He subsequently posted an article on Abbie Chatfield talking about her recent split, adding a comment to go along with it: ‘Yet another one who seems unsuitable for marriage [laughing-tearful emoji]’.
Additionally, Harrison posted a snapshot of Married at First Sight’s Lyndall Grace, who was visibly emotional as she announced her split from her partner of five months. Accompanying the image, he wrote: “That’s too bad for you, Lyndall.
