MAFS UK star left devastated after being ‘dumped via text’ following whirlwind romance

A popular participant on Married at First Sight UK is heartbroken after receiving a breakup message through a text, following a fast-paced love affair.

2021 saw personal trainer and mother of two, Marilyse Corrigan, experience bad luck in love as she tied the knot with fellow fitness enthusiast Franky Spencer.

However she revealed in September last year that she was in a relationship with a new man.

Regrettably, Marilyse found herself single once more, as per a report to The Sun, leaving her feeling distressed and disbelieving.

She deeply fell for someone, only to be discarded via text message. Their relationship had been fast-paced and intense, now she realizes she might have been the target of manipulative affection, known as being ‘love-bombed’.

Marilyse wed military man Franky on the series but they split just before the final episode aired.

Later, she continued her life with Matt Murray, who was also a part of Channel 4’s show in 2022. However, their relationship ended in March 2023.

Or more concisely:
After that, she began dating Matt Murray from the Channel 4 program in 2022, but they separated in March 2023.

In December 2023, Marilyse added fuel to the speculations by posting a warm photograph of herself with her ex-spouse, Frankie, hinting at a possible rekindling of their romance.

Supporters filled the comment area with their kind messages, and one person wrote: “I can’t help but express this (although it might be out of place), but I often feel that both of you should try again. There’s just something about you two that seems so harmonious, it’s all about the chemistry, hugs and kisses xx

The ex-partners parted ways because their bond started feeling less vibrant due to excessive time spent together.

After the television program concluded, Marylyse opted to remain with her husband, who was often referred to as “controlling” by viewers, when they exchanged renewed vows in Dubai.

During our conversation with The Sun following the show, the contestant disclosed that her connection with Franky transformed into a deeper friendship, which eventually led to their separation.

Marilyse shared that it’s truly unfortunate since they had a great rapport and Franky is a kind-hearted individual. However, she clarified that the separation was amicable, as both of them decided it was best to part ways.

Speaking as a completely smitten admirer, I’ll confess: The encounter with Franky was absolutely intense! However, I fear that perhaps my enthusiasm got the best of me, as I found myself immersed in his presence far too often. It could be that this prolonged interaction may have diminished the overall experience a bit.

She added, “Things gradually lost their spark, and we found ourselves feeling more like friends rather than romantic partners.

After the performance, Franky decided to relocate to Beverly first, where he began searching for employment in Leeds, all while preparing for his move back to the United Kingdom from Dubai.

In October 2022, speculations about a romantic relationship arose between Marilyse and Matt after they took a trip to Turkey together.

Instead, they shared on their respective social media platforms in March that they were splitting up because they found themselves too dissimilar.

Marilyse shared on Instagram: “Many people have been wondering if Matt and I are still a couple. Here’s the answer…

To show our appreciation for your kindness and backing, I believe it’s essential to be transparent. Therefore, I must clarify that we are no longer a couple. However, I sincerely hope that Matt finds success in his upcoming endeavors.
