Gemma Rose Barnes, who appeared on Married At First Sight UK, got married to her boyfriend, Jordan Bish, in Las Vegas on Friday.
The 32-year-old reality star announced her marriage on Instagram with a photo of her and her husband taken outside the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, where they exchanged vows.
Jordan and Gemma, who recently had a son named Franklin in March 2024, seemed overjoyed as Jordan playfully lifted Gemma into the air after their wedding.
Gemma looked absolutely radiant in her white wedding dress. It was strapless with a beautiful lace skirt and a delicate mesh scarf.
I always say, a great outfit is about the details! She really turned heads with a stunning pair of nude heels and topped it all off with a gorgeous tiara. And Jordan? He looked incredibly sharp in a classic black tux – talk about a power couple!
The couple beamed as they posed by the drive-up wedding window before going around town for their photos.

Rose later changed into a beautiful lace dress with a square neckline, highlighting her incredible weight loss.
As the night ended, Jordan sweetly put his blazer around Rose’s shoulders and carried her shoes for her, and they happily took a selfie in the reflection of a lift mirror.
They wrote: ‘MR & MRS BISHOP’.
I was so thrilled to hear the wonderful news! This March, a beautiful baby boy, Franklin James Anthony Bishop, arrived, making a lovely couple proud parents for the first time. What a joy!
Gemma, a mother to Ozzy, age 12, and Cash, 5, from a previous relationship, was on the E4 show in 2022. She was paired with Matt Murray, but the relationship didn’t work out and ultimately led to her having a breakdown.
Following her time on the show, she experienced panic attacks and admitted to a £1,000-a-day drug habit, which ultimately led to her becoming homeless and losing all her money.
After starting her journey to recovery, she traveled to Turkey for gastric sleeve surgery, and feels she’s finally found happiness.
Gemma revealed in November that she’s expecting her third child, sharing a picture of her ultrasound and a heartwarming video featuring her boyfriend, Jordan.

She also shared that her weight loss surgery hadn’t negatively affected her ability to get pregnant or have a healthy pregnancy.
Gemma shared the exciting news with a picture of their scan, writing that she was thrilled to be starting this journey with such a loving and supportive partner, who always brings tears of joy to her eyes.
‘Talking to baby and being so present. I am so blessed to have you and our family’.
She also shared a photo designed to look like a newspaper, called ‘The Newborn Times.’ It included pictures and messages like, ‘Our dream came true! We’re so happy to announce our exciting news – our family is getting bigger!’
We’re thrilled to announce we’re expecting a baby in March! We’ve been keeping the news to ourselves for a while, but we’re overjoyed and wanted to share the exciting news – we’re growing our family!
I’ll be sharing updates about my pregnancy on Instagram over the next few months. We’re so excited to welcome our baby boy – he’ll be a perfect mix of both of us, and we already love him so much!
I was so thrilled to see the pregnancy announcement! Like many of us, I was immediately curious about how it all works after her weight loss surgery. Someone actually asked in the comments, ‘Congratulations! How does weight loss surgery and pregnancy work together?’ – and it’s a totally valid question we’re all wondering!
She explained that she’s been needing to eat frequently, and pregnancy has increased her appetite. Thankfully, she’s gaining weight well, and the baby is growing long and strong. They regularly see a nutritionist who is pleased with how her pregnancy is progressing.
Gemma previously shared her struggles with cocaine addiction, explaining she once spent £1,000 each day on drugs and ultimately lost her home.
In an interview with The Cabin Recovery podcast, she admitted that her struggles began when she stopped using drugs and that she regrets ever being on the show. She believes she shouldn’t have been chosen for the cast in the first place.
It was clear to the doctors that I was struggling. Losing my home was part of it all – I became homeless because of my addiction. We had lived in that house for twelve years.

We visited a shelter for people experiencing homelessness. Thankfully, I’ve regained financial stability and we’re now able to afford a nice home again.
I deeply regret putting them in that situation, and I’m determined not to repeat it. I would gladly spend the rest of my life trying to make things right if that’s what it takes.
Gemma, now on the path to recovery, revealed she used to spend up to a thousand pounds each day on drugs – both for herself and others.
It’s clear you’re really struggling and using drugs to escape your problems, even though it’s only making things worse and costing you money. The drug itself seems to be fueling your desire to keep using it.
You use because your brain desperately craves it. My body got so sick that the only relief came from using, and I’ve come a long way since then. But it’s easy to forget how bad things were.
Your body hurts, and just thinking about using again makes you feel physically ill. You don’t want to use, you desperately want to stop, but you feel trapped and unable to break free.
This follows Gemma’s statement that she experienced suicidal thoughts after appearing on E4, claiming the show publicly humiliated her and dismissed her worries about being paired with her husband, Matt, who she described as aggressive.
The salon owner shared with TopMob that she experienced several panic attacks and became exhausted. She also feels she was pressured by the show’s producers to continue filming, even after repeatedly telling them she wanted to leave.
Gemma admitted she felt frightened and exposed during her marriage to 32-year-old Matt, a barber with tattoos. She explained that he falsely accused her of inappropriate behavior in public – claiming she had masturbated in a restaurant – as a way to hide his own problematic actions.
Gemma is upset with the producers of E4, claiming they made her look promiscuous. She says the show aired suggestive comments and statements from her husband about feeling uneasy with things she said, but she insists those claims aren’t true.

The mother of three stated that a fabricated storyline on the show – depicting her engaging in a sexual act in a restaurant – left her feeling suicidal, and she intends to escalate her complaint to the broadcasting company.
She explained: ‘I feel that Matt slut shamed me, I feel like the experts did also.
We have a similar sense of humor, and he actually said a lot of the same things I was thinking at the wedding – things that, unfortunately, didn’t make it into the final video.
He made a sexually aggressive comment, asking if I enjoyed rough treatment and threatening to choke me. Afterwards, he portrayed himself as the victim, but it seemed he was simply expressing his lack of attraction in a disturbing way.
Matt fabricated the story to distract from his own behavior at the restaurant. He became confrontational, knocked over a chair, and then left in a huff. The story he told simply isn’t true.
I repeatedly denied those claims, telling them they were false, but my protests weren’t used in the final version because the story they created was considered more compelling.
I was assured that scene wouldn’t make the final cut, and I was very upset when it did. It’s unacceptable for the show to change the story like that, so I’m going to escalate this issue.
