The Stan Original series, Love Triangle, is expected to compete with Married At First Sight in the realm of gripping reality dating shows, given it has secured another contentious groom from Nine network.

It appears that Sam Carraro, who was once a reality TV personality, hasn’t given up his “villainous” persona. He created quite a stir during the last few moments of episode four with an unexpected arrival and departure.

In this rephrased version: Sam, aged 36, who experienced a failed relationship with Coco Stedman during season eight of Married at First Sight, was paired this time with ‘passionate’ Ariana. Initially, he ignored (or stopped communicating with) her after just three days of texting, causing her to select her second potential partner, Nuri.

Yet, Sam made an effort to make amends by appearing at the residence that Ariana, aged 29, and her new partner, 26, shared together. This was surprising since he had earlier expressed disinterest towards him when she initially ignored his messages.

Regrettably, his unexpected comeback on the broadcast ended abruptly after barely five minutes, as he instantly clashed with Ariana, leading him to pack up and leave in a huff.

The initial encounter between Sam and Ariana was a bit uneasy, as it seemed Ariana didn’t recognize Sam upon opening the door.

‘It’s part of the show that we’re on,’ Sam replied in a sarcastic tone. 

Ariana responded by saying, “Well, typically it would involve some initial messaging from both sides, so I’m a bit puzzled. I assumed you didn’t care for me, sweetheart,” to which Sam simply said, “I didn’t.

In a continued exchange over why Sam opted for silence rather than expressing his lack of interest towards Ariana directly, the Married at First Sight celebrity retorted, “Haven’t you ever experienced rejection yourself? Could that be the source of your frustration?

Later, he arrogantly explained the workings of the show to Ariana, implying she was ignorant, but Ariana eventually lost patience and angrily retorted that Sam had unfairly taken away her chance to pick between two potential partners.

Afterward, he pompously informed Ariana about how the show operates, making it clear he thought she was uninformed, but Ariana soon grew frustrated and sharply told Sam that he had stolen her decision-making opportunity regarding two suitors.

As it became evident that Ariana wouldn’t yield from the conflict, Sam opted to move his possessions into the extra bedroom instead.

However, as Ariana and Nuri found solace in each other, trying to make sense of the situation, the producers found it challenging to coax insights from Sam about his thoughts and feelings.

Before turning to the camera, he remarked, “I’m not speaking at the moment. What would you like me to express instead?” Then, addressing the cameraman, he asked, “Could you please stop recording for a bit?

Subsequently, Sam collected his suitcases that were yet to be unpacked and forcefully moved beyond the producers, deciding to depart the residence permanently.

He stated, “I won’t be participating. I’m departing,” as he wheeled his luggage along the road in reverse direction, surprising Ariana and Nuri.
