Mel Schilling posted a heartfelt message honoring her spouse, Gareth Brisbane, on their seventh wedding anniversary.

On Saturday, the Relationship Expert from Married At First Sight, aged 53, posted three pictures on Instagram that showcased significant milestones in their romantic journey.

The initial nostalgic picture depicted the pair, 14 years back, appearing affectionate while savoring drinks at a bar, radiating love.

Mel noted in the caption that she snapped the picture moments before presenting Gareth to her loved ones for their initial meeting.

On their pre-wedding evening before getting married in Bali in 2018, the couple also captured another charming moment, reminiscent of romance, similar to the first.

We’ve been married for seven years, and have been each other’s soulmates for fourteen. I don’t attribute it to luck, but rather, we’ve found the partners that truly fit us both.

Mel went on saying: “I’m so thankful for you, my friend, my counterpart, my pillar, my inspiration, my comfort zone, and my joke collaborator. I love you, only you.

The romantic post was met with a flurry of congratulations from friends and followers.

In the heart of my thirties, I found myself blissfully alone for a decade, until one fateful day when the stars aligned on eHarmony and I met the incredible Gareth.

In 2018, they exchanged vows during a heartfelt ceremony in Bali, and at that time, they were blessed with their 10-year-old daughter, Maddie.

The wedding had a maximum capacity of just six individuals. This included a family of three, along with two guests acting as witnesses, and a celebrant to officiate the ceremony.

2026’s filming of Married At First Sight has begun, but it appears there are troubles brewing backstage according to inside sources.

The casting notice posted on the MAFS Instagram last week invites you, or if you know someone seeking love, to send direct messages as they have open communication channels ready.

According to a reliable insider, they are frantically searching for both bride and groom pairs. Backstage, there’s a sense of urgency and anxiety. They feel the weight of getting things right following last season’s scandals.

The source mentioned that although Nine aims to provide captivating TV content, they are being cautious when selecting actors for their projects.

The higher-ups have tightened the selection process significantly. Only those without criminal histories or past court appearances will be considered. Even the slightest hint of controversy in an individual’s past could lead to disqualification.
