Mike Gunner is back for round two of looking for love on reality TV. 

A previous participant from Married At First Sight (season six, aired in 2019), has been added to the cast of Love Triangle on Stan for its third season.

On April 6th, the upcoming season of the dating show on Stan will feature a 50-year-old video producer as one of its participants.

Mike expresses that he’s undergone transformation and personal development following his time on Married At First Sight, and now feels prepared to discover True Love.

As a devoted fan following Mike’s journey since his debut in Season 6 of Married at First Sight, I can say that his path to finding true love has been quite challenging.

At fifty years old, being unattached, he acknowledges that he outshines many men his junior in appearance, yet he continues to encounter challenges within the dating world.

If presented with an opportunity, it’s found that Mike is a compassionate canine, and though he experiences occasional bouts of loneliness, he is an incredibly joyful dog father. The narrative proceeds further…

‘He’s keen to have a family of his own, even if that means becoming a stepdad. 

In my perspective, I’ve grown significantly since my time on MAFS, and I’ve developed a deeper self-awareness. For me personally, the Love Triangle concept is effective because it allows me to establish a meaningful connection with someone before they form any judgments about my past on MAFS.

Mike ‘married’ Heidi Latcham on the show back in 2019 but they split before the series ended.  

2021’s Grand Reunion had me on the edge of my seat, and there I was, heart pounding, as Mike confessed something that stirred emotions in me too. “Heidi,” he said, his voice quivering with regret, “was a chance I let slip away.” It struck a chord within me, reminding me of the times I wished for a do-over in my own life.

Regardless of him being involved with another person, the electrician admitted that if he ever encountered Heidi again, he might just give her a kiss.

He remarked that she had an extraordinary ability to brighten any space she entered, unlike anyone else I’ve known before. Unfortunately, everyone seemed to be charmed by it, and I view this as a significant lost chance.

‘I don’t know if I’ve made peace with it, even two years later.’

He admitted that he had made numerous mistakes, which caused pain and harm to her and negatively affected their relationship. He went on to explain this.

He mentioned that he has made attempts to reach out, but she hasn’t responded.

Among the participants seeking love on Love Triangle are Ariana, a 29-year-old Executive Assistant and Pet Chauffeur for weddings, hailing from Victoria.

Similarly, just like Bernie, who’s 27 and hails from Victoria, working as a Business Analyst, Chloe, aged 25 and serving as a Nurse Manager in NSW, are both wishing for the best.

The group of hopefuls is rounded out by Payton, 25, a concreter and business owner from NSW. 

At a Reunion Special hosted by Chrishell Stause, individuals involved in a love triangle will reflect on their past dating encounters.

The well-known American actress is most recognized for her leading part in the worldwide phenomenon, the reality TV show about real estate titled “Selling Sunset.

Ever since Love Triangle debuted globally on Stan in 2022, it has garnered significant international interest, with the first two seasons being distributed across 13 different regions.

The format has been tailored to cater to viewers in Finland and the United Kingdom as well. This year, Love Triangle UK is set to debut its second season on E4 in the UK, and streaming service Stan will also carry it.

The first two episodes of the Stan Original Series Love Triangle Season 3 will premiere on April 6.

They will be followed by a brand new episode every Sunday, only on Stan.
