MAFS Star Awhina’s Secret Texts to Backup Groom Tim Exposed!
Awhina Rutene from the show “Married At First Sight” has confessed to privately messaging her potential backup groom, Tim King, following their date, as they seemed to have a strong connection.
The bride felt drawn to contact the thoughtful and compassionate individual from Queensland, whom she had previously described as beautiful – however, this decision came about after she re-watched their shared episode this week, which then inspired her to send him a message.
She shared with Yahoo, “I recently contacted him and mentioned, ‘Hi, I’m glad we met. You’re genuinely kind, and it seems like your brief appearance on MAFS has attracted a lot of people from the Gold Coast to reach out to you via your social media direct messages.’
‘”You are a really great guy and it was really nice to meet you”‘ she added.
Though Awhina claims they’re merely friends, they’ve managed to keep in contact, and it turns out that Tim has disclosed their intention to get together soon.
Tim shared that should he find himself in Perth at any point in the near future, he would reach out to her and they could arrange for a coffee catch-up.
It was nice to get a message from her and discuss our dating encounter. Unfortunately, following the date, the producers whisked me away, and that was the end of it.
On Tuesday’s episode, the duo got together for a date, and their deep conversation made Awhina feel understood and valued.
Later on, Tim expressed that he held affectionate sentiments towards the bride but disliked how her partner, Adrian Araouzou, had been treating her.
According to Tim’s statement to Yahoo, she is truly a compassionate, thoughtful, authentic individual. His empathy towards her deepened significantly, particularly during the heartfelt reunion between Cleo and her family.
Tim says Awhina is the sort of woman he could be interested in.
He mentioned that there undoubtedly exist certain common values we both share, which become apparent when observing the kindness, sincerity, and compassion displayed by Awhina. These are traits I always seek in a potential partner, he explained.
It appears a connection might have developed given the circumstances, but it’s uncertain for sure.
She clearly possessed the characteristics I value, leaving me wondering about the potential paths our relationship might have taken.
In the course of the show, competitors got the chance to encounter their potential alternates, and it didn’t shock viewers that Adrian and Awhina, aged 30, decided to proceed with this option.
Fans were surprised when Adrian, aged 31, boasted back at his apartment about the attractive woman he could have been paired with, following their show, leaving Awhina in awe.
Right off the bat, Adrian eagerly seized the opportunity to get acquainted with Maxine, a woman from Sydney, who was identified by professionals as a promising second choice for him.
On their date, Awhina got along well with Tim, as he swiftly disclosed his openness to moving for the perfect match.
Additionally, it seemed that Tim was comfortable with Awhina being a mother – an aspect that Adrian had previously proposed might be a potential concern for him during their wedding ceremony.
After meeting with Tim, Awhina found herself doubtful regarding the state of her relationship with Adrian. This uncertainty deepened when they gathered again to discuss their respective dates.
In a subsequent conversation with the producers, I confessed that I intended for Adrian to experience a pang of jealousy similar to what I felt when I went out with Tim, mirroring my own emotions over Maxine. This hinted at the possibility that his affections for me might not have run as deep.
She expressed that she had anticipated a more intense response. It would have been pleasing if he showed slightly more frustration. Instead, it seemed as though he felt, and they both agreed, that since they had completed the challenge together, their feelings towards it didn’t matter much.
