MAFS’ Ryan Gallagher’s Heartwarming Dad Moments Amidst Rumoured Split with Olympian Emily Seebohm!
Recently, Ryan Gallagher, known for his role on Married At First Sight, spent some precious father-son moments with his one-year-old son Sampson. These special times together come after speculation about a breakup with swimmer Emily Seebohm.
On a typical Thursday, I, a dedicated reality TV star at the age of 36, shared a heartwarming selfie on social media, featuring my adorable toddler.
In the picture, Ryan can be spotted smiling while holding his child with Emily, their shared son, during a visit to a beautiful park filled with trees.
He captioned the photo with some precious words: ‘Dad’s little best mate’.
The post comes amid growing rumours that Ryan and Emily, 32, have gone their separate ways.
The engaged pair, who made their announcement in early 2023 following their meeting during the production of The Challenge Australia, have more recently stopped following each other on Instagram.
It appears that Ryan, who was a cast member in the 2018 season of “Married At First Sight,” has deleted Emily from his social media feed.
Emily’s last appearance on Ryan’s grid, at the time of publishing, was more than two years ago.
The post was a screenshot of the pair’s appearance on The Challenge Australia.
Additionally notable, it seemed that Ryan had deleted a picture as well, one featuring him, Emily, and their son Sampson.
The picture showed the couple snuggled up on a hospital bed, their sleeping newborn child gently held by his dad.
During the holiday season over Christmas, Emily uploaded a picture on her feed featuring herself, Ryan, and Sampson smiling alongside Santa Claus. This was one of Ryan’s more recent appearances on her social media.
The Olympic swimmer also sparked rumours of a split in her most recent Instagram photo.
The picture depicted Emily and Sampson having a wonderful mother-son day trip at the Gold Coast amusement park, Dreamworld.
Yet, sharp-eyed admirers swiftly noticed that Emily was not sporting her engagement ring in the picture.
‘Where’s Ryan?’ one follower asked to which another replied: ‘That’s true. I hope they are okay.’
Emily also shared a clip from last month that showed her happily playing with Sampson.
Her ring was also absent in this clip, further fuelling rumours of a split between the couple.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Ryan and Emily for comment.
They started dating in December 2022, just four months after they first met during the filming of The Challenge Australia. They made their relationship public in March 2023.
During season five of MAFS, Ryan gained notoriety as he was matched with the controversial character, Davina Rankin, who became a central figure in the series.
In the series, Davina was shown to be involved in a romantic relationship with Dean Wells, who was partnered with Tracey Jewell.
She faced criticism from Married at First Sight viewers, whereas Ryan earned compassion, immediately becoming a beloved spectator pick.
16-year-old Emily didn’t manage to secure a spot for the 100m and 200m backstroke events at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she initially competed in her Olympic debut at the 2008 Beijing Games.
