MAFS’ Jules Robinson Loses $200K in Seconds, Raffles Wedding Dress for Charity

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my own take on an exciting yet disappointing turn of events: In the thrilling world of Channel Nine’s latest sensation, The Floor, I found myself standing on the precipice of claiming a staggering $200,000. However, in a heart-stopping instant, fate played its hand and the opportunity slipped through my fingers.

In a confident stride, the mother of two approached her upcoming duel against competitor Sheena, who happened to be in a category dear to her – infants.

Juggling life with two little boys, Oliver (aged 4) and Carter (nine months), Jules believed she held the advantage. However, an unexpected turn of events occurred when she was swiftly eliminated from the contest within mere moments – 45 seconds to be exact – during a nerve-wracking round.

During an interview on 9Now, Jules confessed that the intensity didn’t quite prepare her for how it would impact her as much as it ultimately did.

Jules admitted, “I found it surprisingly tough. I thought it would be a breeze, but my mind just…

‘It was a very close game. I was so, so close to winning.

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself in a situation where I often find my thoughts scattered, much like when one is caring for a newborn. It’s as if my mental capacity has temporarily shifted to accommodate the needs of this little one, leaving me momentarily without the usual clarity of thought. It’s not that I’ve lost my ability to think or remember; it’s more like my brain is multitasking between diaper changes, feedings, and lullabies.

Even though Jules appeared confident, her chances of winning the top prize vanished quickly, showing that even well-prepared competitors can falter under stress.

Just weeks have passed since Jules openly shared her intention on social media platforms to give away the wedding dress she wore during her marriage to Cameron Merchant on MAFS.

On Instagram, a woman with red hair announced that she would donate her favorite outfit as the grand prize for a charity event benefiting the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter. This organization helps homeless women by providing them support.

Jules shared with her followers that she was donating her dress from Married at First Sight, which she wore for a noble reason.

She used the video to show off the features of the dress which is being raffled for $10 a ticket.

She stated that the dress has been completely refurbished and now looks as good as new, waiting for a fortunate lady to don it.

Jules went on to say the lucky winner could use the outfit as a ‘ball gown’.

She playfully suggested that if it fitted her, she’d wear it at home. However, she quickly mentioned that the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter does an incredible job serving their local community.

Jules recently revealed her thoughts about the 2025 season of the reality experiment.

In my professional opinion, when conversing with you, dear reader, I’ve noticed that the contemporary cast members on MAFS seem to be putting in extra effort to reach those high-drama moments.

She stated that when we were experiencing it, everything was authentic; whatever you witnessed at the time was exactly what transpired with no manipulated scenes intended to gain attention or elicit responses.

Jules acknowledged that she’s been following along with the captivating drama that’s held many Australians on the edge of their seats. However, she also mentioned that there were moments when it was challenging for her.

‘This new season has been a bit hard to watch, I think – some parts of it,’ Jules admitted.

‘I can’t put my finger on it. You keep watching but you’re like, ‘What am I actually watching?’

‘At least there’s a bit of love this year, a couple of relationships.’

Additionally, Jules mentioned that the duo might consider growing their family soon, sharing that she’s been visualizing having a daughter.

‘So next year, we decided we will try again,’ she said.

It seems to me that I am invincible, right? I always approach things with optimism – that’s my perspective. Therefore, next year will definitely be a success for me.

After approximately six years as a couple, Jules and Cam have recently shared insights into their journey on Married at First Sight and discussed how the show might transform participants into mere shadows of their former selves.

According to Cam, we felt that things turned out exceptionally well for us because we put in a lot of effort into personal growth beforehand. In essence, it seemed as though the universe had prepared us by saying, “You are now ready for this experience.

Jules added: ‘We’re forever grateful for our experience.

In that space, it got challenging for me, and emotions overtook us, leading to shared tears. Yet, looking back, I can’t help but feel incredibly thankful for the exhilarating, unforgettable adventure that brought us here.

2019’s participants of Married At First Sight are thriving more than ever since their appearance on the show, as they joyously welcomed baby Oliver into their family last October.

Last July, they expanded their family by welcoming their second son, Carter James, into their home.
