MAFS’ Jessika Powers all but confirms her latest split with DJ and reveals her ex has her dog in France: ‘It’s a lengthy process’

As a dedicated follower of Jessika Power’s journey, I can’t help but feel a pang of empathy for this resilient reality star. Her life has been a whirlwind of love, heartbreak, and now, an unexpected twist with her beloved sausage dog Sushi.

Jessica Power is making every effort to bring her cherished dachshund, Sushi, back from France where he currently resides with her former partner, as she anxiously attempts to arrange his flight back home.

As a dedicated lifestyle enthusiast, I’ve found myself sharing an emotional journey that many can relate to. At the tender age of 31, I find myself saying goodbye to my beloved companion, Sushi, who I had to leave with my previous partner, the renowned British DJ Brent Anthony. It’s never easy letting go, but life sometimes requires us to make difficult decisions.

In a recent Instagram Q&A, I shared that unfortunately, Sushi was with my former partner due to an unexpected need to depart urgently for my father’s funeral.

One of Jessika’s 344,000 followers had asked who is looking after her dog now. 

‘I’m trying to get [Sushi] on a flight ASAP from France to the UK,’ she wrote. 

If you happen to be aware of any airlines that could assist me, please do share, as it seems quite unjust that he is looking after my dog now that we no longer live together.

Since becoming well-known on MAFS Australia in 2019, Jessika has made appearances on numerous reality shows across different countries.

Last year, she announced her intention to relocate back to Australia, following the end of her two-year romance with another British DJ, Connor Thompson, in June.

Last December, the reality TV personality shared with her followers that she was setting aside funds for a return to the Gold Coast with her pet Sushi. However, soon after, it seemed she had shifted her plans as she started dating Brent, suggesting a possible change in her intentions.

Instead, she moved to the French Riviera with Brent.

Last May, I was absolutely thrilled when the one and only Jessika graciously posted a heartwarming video on her feed – capturing her and the dashing Brent strolling through the picturesque streets of Nice, their fingers intertwined like two peas in a pod! And then, oh what a moment it was, when the reality star leaped into his arms! As an ardent fan, it felt as if my heart skipped a beat witnessing such a romantic display.

Observant followers have noticed that Brent and Sushi haven’t appeared in Jessika’s recent social media posts for a while, leading them to speculate about any potential issues between the trio. Consequently, they’ve been filling her comment sections with queries regarding their relationship status.

Over the weekend, Jessika quietly confirmed she and Brent had broken up and he is the ‘ex’ that’s looking after her dog while she’s returned to the UK.

She replied: ‘Brent and I share a great deal of affection for one another. Sushi should be returning to us within a couple of months.’

“The fan expressed again that they wish they could have witnessed Brent accompanying you to Australia, as you two seemed fantastic together.

On a typical Monday, I found myself sharing numerous videos, capturing moments of pure relaxation with my beloved cat, Sushi, nestled comfortably beside me on the couch as we indulged in an afternoon of video game escapades.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must admit, I’m absolutely buzzing with anticipation! Whether it’s the joy of reconnecting with my beloved Sushi in the UK or the thrill of possibly revitalizing my connection with the DJ in Australia, either way, the excitement is palpable.

The celebrity from Married At First Sight had to quickly go back to the Gold Coast in August for the emotional goodbye of her cherished father during a heartfelt funeral service.

Jessica captured herself traveling in a dark hearse-like vehicle, seemingly located in Queensland, while a convoy of motorcyclists trailed behind her.

She also shared a quick look inside the wake, which appeared to be held in rustic pub. 

Previously known as the television bride, she returned to her original blonde hair color following a period as a redhead. She labeled these videos with the heartfelt message, “I love you, Dad.

Jessica announced the unexpected news about the demise of her father, Troy Power – a retired professional boxer – in July, by expressing her sorrow over his passing.

Apart from sharing on social media, she additionally offered a mental health update following the incident where she faced online trolling while soliciting donations for her father’s funeral expenses.

In response to the heartfelt inquiries about my wellbeing, I truly value each and every one of them. Currently, I find myself back at my cherished childhood abode, my father’s home, a situation that presents its challenges yet offers an unusual sense of comfort.

‘We grew up here and are surrounded by his things, which is helping.’

After discussing it, Jessika revealed that the continuous news stories about her father’s funeral were negatively impacting her emotional well-being. As a result, she has chosen to maintain privacy regarding the specifics of her father’s funeral service.

‘I know I’m a public figure, but I need this to be private,’ she said.

“I won’t be disclosing any details about the event, such as its location or date. At the moment, I’m not emotionally prepared due to the recent passing of a loved one. Funerals are painful, yet they provide a chance for family members to reunite.
