MAFS’ Jamie Marinos Claps Back at ‘Boganic’ Insult from Lauren Hall!
Married At First Sight’s Jamie Marinos has never been one to hold her tongue.
Now, the bride, who was described as “boganic” by a fellow contestant during their hen party, is voicing her thoughts following this revelation.
In a conversation with Daily Mail Australia, 28-year-old Jamie openly expressed her indifference when questioned about Lauren’s remarks, making it plain that the title didn’t faze her.
Oh, wow, I find ‘boganic’ quite amusing! I actually used it in my Instagram post, so thank you, Lauren, for introducing me to such a funny term. I had a good chuckle about it!
Lauren, aged 37, held the belief that she would never become friends with Jamie. In private conversations with producers on the hen’s night, she described Jamie as having somewhat of a ‘casual or working-class demeanor.’
But Jamie insists she had no idea there was any tension at the time.
She confessed, “I didn’t realize there was tension between us. I just thought she was being impolite.
Initially, I perceived her as quite impolite, but I held my tongue since it was the first encounter, thinking perhaps she’s shy or reserved. However, her lack of greeting others struck me as impolite. You would often see me approaching to say hello instead.
The vocal bride remembered an instance when she deliberately made efforts to ensure others felt part of the group, but unfortunately discovered that Lauren didn’t seem to reciprocate with the same level of warmth.
Jamie clarified, “I accidentally knocked over a glass while moving a chair for someone to sit, ensuring everyone was included since I’m quite hospitable. However, she came across as rather aloof or unapproachable.
Despite Lauren’s unfiltered assessment of her, Jamie remains unfazed, even poking fun at the dig.
‘Personally, I love trash bag nails. The longer, the better,’ she quipped.
‘I say things as they are’.
Jamie is well-known for her candid demeanor, ensuring everyone that she will be completely open during the course of the study.
As a deeply devoted enthusiast, my absolute no-go is close-minded individuals. Being incredibly open-minded and spiritual, I always speak the truth as I see it. Meanwhile, although Lauren isn’t among Jamie’s friends, Jamie has developed strong relationships with quite a few of the other brides, such as Katie, Ash, and Awhina.
Right from the start, I hit it off with Katie, Ash, and Awhina. These three girls were genuinely lively and straightforward. It seemed like genuine friendship clicked between us right away, as I believe authentic people connect authentically.
As the dinner parties get underway and emotions running high, it seems inevitable that Jamie and Lauren’s competition will reach a boiling point.
