Alessandra shared that on her visit to Colombia, she had a conversation with a surgeon about undergoing a procedure to address her loose skin and achieve a more refined figure.

‘Fourteen years after the fact I’m finally taking care of that,’ she laughed.

After discovering the issue with loose skin, I considered undergoing reconstructive surgery but decided to reevaluate my choice first.

I started in May, and I’ll pick up again around the start of next year, once we wrap up this current season of MAFS.

She further mentioned that her upcoming surgery would bring a sense of finality or resolution to the emotional turmoil connected to her weight gain.

In an interview with 9Entertainment, Alessandra shared that the experience had a profound impact on her life. However, she found it surprising when some critics seemed to express strong displeasure over her weight loss journey.

She stated, “People have been questioning me lately, ‘Why did you lose weight?’ Previously, I was often asked, ‘Why are you overweight?’

It’s not always possible to satisfy everyone, and it’s usually not about pleasing others – however, I was quite taken aback by the number of people who reacted negatively when I said I had done something – it was for my well-being, folks.

Alessandra continued by expressing that the process, which entails a surgical modification of both the stomach and small intestine, was a truly remarkable encounter for her.
