MAFS Fans Slam Clint Rice as ‘Boring’ and ‘Lame’ After Insulting Sydney’s Western Suburbs

Fans of Married At First Sight have criticized Clint Rice following his harsh comments about Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

In the emotionally charged Reunion episode on Sunday, Clint openly admitted that he had been in a relationship with Jacqui Burfoot, making this revelation using some strong language.

At the culmination of the study, there was a noticeable escalation of emotions, particularly concerning the newly formed pair and Jacqui’s former partner, Ryan Donnelly.

Ryan, eager to understand the origins of their relationship, approached Clint privately once he had arrived at the event on his own.

With much anticipation, it was thought they’d show up as a pair, but instead, it was just Clint who appeared. Swiftly, Ryan drew him aside for a private conversation to sort out the details of the situation.

Though Clint didn’t explicitly say so, his actions and words left no room for doubt that he had no interest in associating with Ryan.

He said, “You’ve been reaching out and trying to suggest we’re friends. However, we’re not close friends in the way you seem to think.

Throughout the evening, the duo kept exchanging witty remarks, but when Jackie mentioned her plans to relocate to Tasmania to be with Clint, Ryan reached his limit.

‘I’m sick of looking at you – p***s off back to Hobart,’ Ryan spat.

When Clint stated he wasn’t from Hobart, Ryan firmly reiterated: “Well, buddy, if you happened to come from some small corner of Tasmania, I suggest you return there.

Keen to flex his alpha male credentials, Clint then had a dig at Ryan’s hometown.

‘Mate you live in the Western Suburbs. Lets not talk anymore,’ he said as Jacqui gleefully giggled.

He reiterated the sentiment to producers, adding: ‘Mate, don’t go there.

If you’d like a glimpse, I can share some photos since I’m not currently residing in the western suburbs and my temporary accommodation isn’t a one-bedroom house.

‘Jacqui’s gone from a Kia to a Ferrari,’ he continued.

Clint’s harsh words did not sit well with fans, who took to social media to slam the reality star.

One fan suggested, “It’s unacceptable for Clint to belittle an entire group of people. Another fan put it this way, ‘Clint seems to think he’s superior to everyone else.’

Another took umbrage with Clint’s comments, because of the house prices in Western Sydney.

They wrote that Clint described Ryan’s home as a “small apartment with just one bedroom, yet it might be priced similarly to his Tasmanian manor.

Another spectator had a comparable perspective, expressing it as, ‘Ha! It seems even Clint can’t manage to buy a small, run-down apartment in the western suburbs #mafs.’

In my perspective as a lifestyle expert, I recently came across a remark that didn’t resonate favorably with one of our audience members. They expressed their displeasure by stating: “It seemed like Clint was referring to a less-than-ideal living situation in Western Sydney, potentially offending almost all viewers.

In Sydney, any homeowner could theoretically afford a mansion in Hobart. Clint, let’s keep things realistic, said another astute property enthusiast.

Another upset fan expressed a similar feeling, saying: “Perhaps Clint should be informed that if he needs to understand, Ryan’s house in the western suburbs will consistently hold a higher value than a mansion in Tasmania – that’s just how Sydney property market works.

One spectator appeared less than thrilled by Clint’s display of strength, hinting that, similar to Jacqui, he might benefit from refining his humor.

It seems that Clint, who hails from MAFS Australia, and Jacqui might share a similar sense of humor, or lack thereof when it comes to witty one-liners, as suggested by their schooling. They are expected to enjoy each other’s company greatly.

Another slammed Clint’s comments and behaviour.

‘For a 45 year old man, Clint is a juvenile,’ they opined.

In an unexpected turn for many fans, Clint and Jacqui stunned everyone by announcing their engagement on Sunday, even amidst the jabs.

On TikTok, a video emerged showing Clint proposing to his girlfriend, who’s 29 years old. He got down on one knee and then revealed a stunning diamond ring.

In no time at all, a thrilled Jacqui responded affirmatively, embracing her partner tightly before sealing their happiness with a passionate kiss on his grinning mouth.

As I eagerly watched the footage unfold, my heart leaped with joy as Jacqui gleefully displayed her dazzling diamond ring to her captivated MAFS audience – a moment that made me beam with pride and excitement!
