Mafia: The Old Country August Release Date Accidentally Revealed Early by 2K and Hangar 13

2K Games and studio Hangar 13 have unintentionally disclosed an August release date for “Mafia: The Old Country,” through a Steam blog post discussing their upcoming developer panel at PAX East 2025 in May.

Although the English version of the post does not mention a specific release date, it seems that one was initially provided in several other languages. However, these dates appear to have been altered. Originally, the announcement stated that the game “Mafia: The Old Country” would be released on August 8, 2025. Pre-orders for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam are currently available.

It seems that the initial plan was to reveal the release date for “Mafia: The Old Country” during the development panel at PAX East. However, it appears that 2K has shared the news a bit early. The game is now set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on August 8th instead. Additional details and gameplay will be unveiled at PAX East on May 8th.
