Madonna delights fans as she gets back to work in the recording studio with long-time collaborator

Madonna excited her fans on Wednesday by returning to the recording studio to work with frequent collaborator Stuart Price.

Madonna, 67, is creating a follow-up to her 2005 album, ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor,’ and fans can expect it to be released next year.

She looked stunning in a low-cut, off-the-shoulder gown during a photoshoot in the studio.

Madonna completed her glamorous outfit with a lavish fur coat and a pair of laced-up heeled boots.

She captioned the update: ‘In The Stu with Stu……….. Confessions on a Dance Floor Part 2.’

Oh my gosh, everyone is freaking out just like me! I was scrolling through the comments and it’s just a flood of ‘I can’t wait!’ and ‘I love you, M!’ Seriously, people are SO hyped to finally hear it, and honestly? Me too! So many exclamation points – it’s amazing! I’m practically vibrating with excitement just reading all the love for M!

Others added: ‘I love the love. joy. needs a reboot so badly’; ‘We need this moment.’

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that Madonna just dropped a special edition of her iconic album, ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’! It’s a celebration of the album’s 20th anniversary, and trust me, it’s a fantastic way to revisit – or discover! – a truly groundbreaking piece of music.

This album includes 20 songs, featuring the complete, original mixed version plus eight extra tracks.

Madonna recently announced that her next album will be a follow-up to her famous 2005 release, which featured popular songs like “Hung Up” and “Get Together.”

She recently gave fans a glimpse of her recording process in London, working with producer Stuart, who also contributed to her original album.

Stuart also acted as the musical director for her Celebration tour in 2023-24.

In February, Madonna shared photos of herself working on new music in the recording studio. The pictures showed her wearing a lacy top.

She shared that she’s been collaborating with Stuart Price on new music, and that the work has been incredibly healing and fulfilling for her.

The singer shared that songwriting and creating music is something she does freely, without needing anyone’s approval, in a recent post.

‘I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025.’

The new album is her first since 2019’s Madame X and was released earlier this month.

This announcement followed news of her return to Warner Records, the company behind many of her biggest albums, including American Life (2003), Confessions on a Dance Floor (2005), and Hard Candy (2008).

She originally split from Warner in 2007 to sign with Live Nation.

Looking back on her early days, Madonna shared with Variety that going from an unknown artist in New York to getting a record deal for just a few songs felt like a turning point – and she was right, as it completely changed her life.

Okay, seriously, Warner Records has always believed in me, right from the start. It feels amazing to be back with them, like coming home! I’m so excited about what we’re going to create together – music that pushes boundaries, stuff people won’t see coming, and hopefully, things that actually matter and get people talking. I can’t wait!
