Madonna Announces Sequel to ‘Confessions On A Dance Floor’!

Enthusiasm among Madonna’s fanbase surged when she disclosed plans for a fresh album, announcing the news through a social media post that reached her 20 million followers on Instagram.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must say that the announcement from Madge, at 66 years young, really set my pulse racing! She’s planning an exciting sequel to her iconic 2005 album, Confessions On A Dance Floor. Can you imagine? We’ll be stepping back onto the dance floor with this highly-anticipated follow-up. It’s going to be a thrilling journey down memory lane, revisiting the classic tunes and perhaps discovering some new gems as well!

She shared, “For my dear fans on Valentine’s Day, I’m revealing that I’m pouring all my heart and energy into my fresh tunes, and I’m eagerly anticipating the moment when I can present them to you!

She ended her post, which featured images from a recording studio for her song titled Future Lovers, with ‘Confessions Part 2 – Keep it under wraps, everyone (especially Usher)!’

In certain pictures, she’s seen seated at a drum set, in others she’s captured while singing into a microphone, and in yet more images, she poses captivatingly for the camera, a style uniquely reminiscent of Madonna.

The picture collage features a snapshot of music producer Stuart Price, someone she’s been working with in the recording studio since last December.

‘Working on new music with Stuart Price. these past few months has been medicine for my SOUL. 

In my passionate world, composing songs and creating music is the realm where I hold the ultimate freedom, no longer requiring validation from others. This was a sentiment I expressed back then.

‘I’m so excited to share it with you. Who wants to hear new music in 2025,’ her caption continued.

Madonna collaborated with Prince on her 2005 album, where they produced tracks like “Hung Up” and “Get Together.” (The Queen of Pop and Prince worked on Madonna’s 2005 album, resulting in the release of “Hung Up” and “Get Together.”)

Price also acted as the musical director for her Celebration tour in 2023-24.  

The new album will be her first since 2019’s Madame X.

The seven-time Grammy winner didn’t disclose any specific date or even an approximate release time for their upcoming music.

This past week, Madonna left a comment on Vogue’s Instagram featuring Sabrina Carpenter, aged 25, as their March cover model.

In a nod to Madonna’s 1991 Vanity Fair shoot, the photo session was captured by Steven Meisel, who often works with her.

Madonna is currently dating 28-year-old Akeem Morris.

Back in August 2022, Akeem, who used to play soccer at college, encountered Madonna for the first time. However, it wasn’t until almost two years after that their relationship became public knowledge.

In July, Madonna openly displayed her relationship on Instagram by sharing pictures of them affectionately snuggled together on various social media platforms.

In October 2024, it was said that they parted ways, but only a few weeks later, rumors suggest they made up after their breakup.
