Madonna is getting ready to release her first album in six years, but she also caught fans’ attention with a recent outing in Venice.
The pop star looked quiet and reserved as she boarded a water taxi in the historic Italian city, wearing a long, quilted coat and oversized sunglasses.
Madonna, who is in Venice filming the second season of her show The Studio, was seen heading towards the Palazzo del Cinema on the Lido after departing from the Aman Hotel with a few assistants.
Okay, so I was looking at photos of her, and I noticed something… she had this little white bandage under her right eye! It’s so worrying! It makes me think something happened to her recently, some kind of accident maybe? I’m just really concerned for her, you know? It’s just… she’s 67, and I can’t help but wonder what happened!
Madonna arrived at Marco Polo airport on March 15th, shielding her eyes with a large-brimmed Gucci hat as she headed for a car that was waiting to pick her up.
Her visits to the city have continued to be mysterious. Most recently, on Wednesday, the singer hid under a large hat, and her team quickly used umbrellas to block her from being seen by the public.
Madonna, who is the best-selling female artist ever, announced last year that she’s planning to release a new dance album in 2026.
The singer is going back to Warner Records, the label that released many of her biggest songs in the 1980s, like ‘Like a Virgin’ and ‘Holiday.’ She originally left Warner in 2007 when she signed a major deal with Live Nation records.
The Grammy-winning artist shared in a statement that they’re thrilled to be back and excited about what’s to come – creating music, taking risks, and hopefully sparking important discussions.
This will be her first album recorded in a professional studio for seven years. It’s being produced by Stuart Price, who previously worked with her on the 2005 album, Confessions on a Dance Floor.
Warner Records is thrilled to welcome Madonna back to the label. Tom Corson and Aaron Bay-Schuck, the label’s co-chairmen, stated that Madonna is more than just a musician—she’s a true icon who has consistently redefined the boundaries of music and culture.
Madonna received the prestigious honor of being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008. Throughout her career, she’s sold over 400 million records globally.
And behind-the-scenes there has been a lot of preparations underway for her racy comeback video.
This week, a team of around 200 people arrived at a secret location in the UK to begin filming an exciting new video.
According to The Sun, Madonna became eligible for a state pension last year, but she’s actually been planning a major return to performing instead.
Madonna isn’t holding back – she’s actually increasing the sexual content in her work. Her upcoming music video is expected to be provocative and challenge expectations.
She’s hired a professional intimacy coordinator to be present during filming. This ensures a comfortable and safe working environment for everyone involved in any scenes requiring physical closeness, and that all interactions are handled respectfully and with clear boundaries.
Madonna resists being defined by a single label, and despite approaching 70, she wants everyone to remember she’s still a major pop icon known for her sensuality.
