Madonna, 67, joins boyfriend Akeem Morris, 29, and son Rocco Ritchie, 25, racing horses in the desert as she shares impassioned political post amid her family getaway in Morocco

Madonna gave a political speech while on a horseback ride in the desert during her luxurious family vacation in Morocco on Friday.

The 67-year-old singer was with her boyfriend, 29-year-old Akeem Morris, and several of her children: Rocco, 25, David, 20, Mercy, 19, and her 13-year-old twins, Stella and Estere.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Madonna just posted the most amazing thing! She shared a video on Instagram of her and her friends riding horses – like, actual stallions! – across these incredible sand dunes. And she gave us a peek at their whole desert camp too! It looks absolutely magical, I’m seriously living for it!

The singer, known for her hit “Papa Don’t Preach,” looked chic and relaxed in a padded jacket with faux fur trim and sunglasses. She later traded her cowboy hat for a safety helmet.

She quickly reapplied her lipstick and then helped her children put on headscarves as they headed to the beach.

Even though it looked like I was just having a fun escape, Madonna actually used her post to show incredible support for the people of Iran, who are going through a really tough time right now. It meant a lot to see her use her platform to speak up for them.

Large protests have erupted in Iran in recent weeks, with reports indicating over 2,500 protesters have been killed.

I was so moved by Madonna’s recent post! She wrote about how ‘Hold Tight’ feels like the perfect message as we start the year of the Fire Horse. She shared that thinking back on her holiday in Morocco made her think of the brave people in Iran who are fighting for a revolution and are willing to risk everything for their beliefs – it really resonated with me.

It’s easy to take things for granted – I’m guilty of it too. Simple freedoms like being able to travel or choose your own clothes are things we often overlook.

She continued, explaining her dreams: to ride a horse through the desert, to speak her mind without fear of being punished, harmed, or even killed, to express herself through song and dance, and to choose her own beliefs. But Iranian women are denied these basic freedoms.

I support the people of Iran, who have longed for freedom for centuries. While I can’t fully understand their hardships, I’m thinking of them and sending my support. The moment for change is here. Stay strong!

This follows Madonna’s earlier post from the same trip, which showed her affectionately with her much younger boyfriend.

The singer, known for her song ‘Vogue’, quickly bundled up in a stylish black puffer coat and a patterned scarf while posing for a photo with her boyfriend.

She completed her outfit with a khaki fedora and large black sunglasses. Akeem wore a black vest over a brown hoodie.

Madonna shared another beautiful photo of a sunset, this time wearing a brown faux fur coat and scarf while standing near a crackling campfire.

While exploring Morocco, the celebrity dressed in riding clothes and her family took a memorable camel ride.

In other fashionable photos, Madonna wore a stylish faux-fur coat with a black outfit and posed playfully on a gold statue.

The pop superstar finished her Western-themed outfit with a brown fedora and eye-catching snake-print cowboy boots, giving her some extra height.

She also wore a long, black, hooded faux-fur coat and posed sultrily for the camera. Her son, Rocco, wore a red and black graphic T-shirt and posed on the ground.

It comes after Madonna celebrated the New Year in Marrakesh in style with her boyfriend Akeem.

The singer performed with some of her children, but her oldest daughter, 29-year-old Lourdes, wasn’t there.

The star posted several playful photos from her evening in Morocco on Instagram.

Madonna made a striking impression at the event in a black velvet dress with no straps. She paired it with elegant lace gloves and a long, flowing cape.

Akeem looked sharp in a matching velvet suit and added a stylish pearl necklace to complete his outfit.

The family spent the evening enjoying a fancy dinner with live music and sparklers, then went to the desert to watch a traditional show featuring skilled horse riders.
