On Tuesday, Madonna shared a collection of images on Instagram to celebrate her father, Silvio Ciccone‘s 94th birthday.

The artist from Express Yourself expressed gratitude towards her father for instilling within her an attitude of “no holds barred” or “nothing to lose,” which significantly contributed to her success in the entertainment industry.

In a post to over 19.9 million followers on the social media platform, the 66-year-old pop icon expressed, ‘Happy Birthday to my Dad!’

She remarked about her dad, ‘Despite enduring numerous wars and setbacks throughout his life, he maintains a lively wit and an eagerness to rise each day with zest.’

The multiple Grammy-winning artist, known as Madonna, recently praised her father for his long-standing dedication and hardworking nature as he nears his centennial birthday.

Whenever someone queries my dad about his retirement plans, he consistently replies with a familiar statement: “I’ll keep going until there’s no more to give.” (Like A Prayer singer)

She included the term “S.A.M.E.”, apparently suggesting that she had adopted the determined spirit, often associated with perseverance, which has played a significant role in her success within the entertainment industry over the last four decades.

The creator behind iconic songs such as Vogue, Material Girl, and Like a Virgin expressed her viewpoint that modern society often overlooks older individuals, but instead, they should be embraced and valued more.

Madonna expressed regret that our world doesn’t honor knowledge, life experiences, and the profound wisdom that the elderly, who have lived for several decades, carry.

She stated, ‘Our obsession with youth and physical attractiveness, paradoxically, provides no wisdom and offers fleeting pleasure instead.’

Madonna is the mom of six kids: Lourdes Leon (age 28), Rocco Ritchie (age 24), Mercy James (age 19), David (age 19), and twin daughters Estere and Stella (both 12 years old).

In a related video, the family can be spotted having a lengthy birthday party filled with excitement. A big banner was displayed, and activities like soccer and horseback riding were enjoyed outdoors as summer approached.

In various photos within the gallery, it was clear that Madonna radiated beauty, such as when she donned a blue patterned gown and her father relished a piece of birthday cake.

In her final comment, Madonna expressed, ‘Well done, Dad!! I’m proud of you, and I believe Mom is beaming with joy and happiness wherever she may be.’ This refers to Madonna Louise Ciccone, her late mother who died in 1963 from breast cancer at the age of 30.

At the time of the sad event, Madonna was just five years old. In more recent times, she has expressed deeply about her grief over it numerous times.

Last year, during his Celebration tour, the pop star shared that for 81 shows he stood on stage, gazing up at the image of his deceased mother and pondering what thoughts might have crossed her mind as she bid him farewell from her hospital window.

She remarked, “I climbed into the station wagon, closed the door, unaware that it would be the final time I’d catch sight of her.

‘I wasn’t informed that my mother was dying; instead, I observed her gradually deteriorating in a puzzling manner. Eventually, she vanished without a trace, and the only reason given was that she had simply fallen asleep.’
