Madeleine West’s Surprise Seventh Baby at 47 Crops Up in Stunning Reveal

Madeleine West has welcomed her seventh child

On Saturday, the 47-year-old offered a peek at her new baby on Instagram, disclosing that the little one is thriving and in great health.

Accompanying a partially cropped photo of the child, the Neighbors actor penned: “Finally on Earth… and completely flawless.

The Australian actress did not reveal the sex or name of her new arrival at the time.

Madeleine’s social media post was quickly inundated with congratulations from her famous friends.

‘Congratulations!! Enjoy this precious time’ wrote Alex Fevola.

Shelley Craft chimed in: ‘Sending all my love and cuddles. Congratulations’.

Jo Stanley exclaimed, “Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! I’m overjoyed for you and your precious newborn. Wishing you an abundance of love!

‘Congratulations mumma!!!!!!!!! So happy for you’ added Christie Hayes.

It comes after Madeleine opened up about her seventh pregnancy at the age of 47.

Previously, the star has five daughters and a son who she shares with her former partner, renowned chef Shannon Bennett.

60 Minutes’ sneak peek of their upcoming interview reveals that West remains unfazed by critics, choosing instead to continue dancing to the rhythm of her unique melody.

She was taken aback when others learned she was having another child at her advanced age, yet she was equally surprised by the overwhelming support she encountered.

West expressed his surprise when he said, “It’s understandable that there was disbelief, given where you are in life and the success of your career and your family with so many children.” (This version maintains the original meaning but rephrases it in a more natural and conversational way.)

However, it’s astonishing to find that numerous individuals have connected with me, expressing feelings of isolation similar to my own, such as “I’ve embarked on a journey like yours, but often felt lonely. I worried that everyone at the playground would perceive me as grandmother.

When questioned about being referred to as a “playground grandma,” the actress replied: “Absolutely, it’s only natural. However, I’ve always defended myself by saying that I march to the rhythm of my own music.

‘I’ve always done things a little bit different. A little bit outside the norm.’

The responses from West’s friends were disclosed following her announcement of pregnancy in January.

The TV personality, who has Phoenix (19), Hendrix (16), Xascha (14), Xanthe (12), and twins Xalia and Margaux (10) with Shannon (49), revealed that her friends were taken aback when she announced her pregnancy.

she shared that when she initially informed her circle about the major news, there was indeed an expression. It could be described as a dumbfounded or bewildered look, in my opinion.

Yet, she responded with a surprised look, which swiftly changed to an exclamation of “wow” when her companions inquired whether she intended to raise the child herself.

The debated topic sparked discussions about pregnancies in older women and the potential dangers associated with such pregnancies, a subject she delved deeper into during her chat with Stellar Magazine.

She informed the outlet that instead of viewing motherhood as a restriction on her abilities, she chooses to perceive it as an exponential enhancement.

She added that although getting pregnant wasn’t something she had anticipated, it turned out to be an unexpected yet delightful surprise.

She expressed that it feels as if this small individual has arrived just at the most opportune moment, when I am incredibly prepared.

West went on to say she now has ‘more time, wisdom and experience’ when it comes to parenting.

Pondering over the term commonly used as ‘advanced motherhood’, the woman about to become a mother of seven voiced her annoyance at the scarcity of discussions on late pregnancies in our global society.

Despite the growing trend of women giving birth in their forties, which is a tangible reality, West points out that this topic is not widely discussed within society at large.

In January, it was announced that West is expecting her seventh child, ten years after the birth of her last one.

She revealed the surprising news in an Instagram post.

In that snapshot, I proudly showcased my expanding belly, embracing every inch of it by donning a snug tank top, lifting it slightly to expose my bare stomach, celebrating the miracle growing within me.

Oops!” She titled her post. “I mistakenly thought it was perimenopause, but I was off the mark! It wasn’t due to overindulging in Christmas pudding either. I’ve never been more delighted.
