Madeleine West’s Heartfelt Mother’s Day Tribute After Welcoming Her Seventh Child at 47

Madeleine West has shared a touching tribute to her seven children on Mother’s Day.

On Sunday, the ex-Neighbours actress who is now 47 years old shared an old Christmas photo on Instagram, featuring herself and her six oldest children.

A smiling Madeleine can be seen sitting alongside Santa as she hugged one of her children.

In the recent photo she shared, the mother of seven, who just gave birth last month, cleverly hid the identities of each child by using smiley emojis instead, thus preserving their personal privacy.

The famous TV personality posted a heartfelt message, addressed to her kids – Phoenix (19), Hendrix (16), Xascha (14), Xanthe (12), and twins Xalia and Margaux (10) – along with her ex-partner Shannon Bennett, and also included her newborn in the post.

‘My darlings…My magnum opus SEVEN times over!’ she began.

‘My crazy, cantankerous, curious, clever, chaos of children (collective noun trademarked!)

I appreciate you. Being your mom has helped me become the best possible version of myself that I could hope for.

Madeleine expressed her gratitude in several ways: “I appreciate your faith in reaching out to me. I am thankful for your understanding when I can’t provide all the answers. And I cherish the affection I see in your gaze whenever you call my name.

‘I don’t always get it right, but thank you for your patience as I try to do my best.

‘The journey has not been easy, what journey ever is?

She went on to say, “It’s a privilege to see you face your daily struggles and triumphs, and to observe the remarkable individuals you have become as a result of your efforts.

‘Please know I love you, now and forever, more than words can say.

Who would have thought the human heart could contain such depth? And who would have imagined that love could persistently develop, broaden, and thrive?

‘I’m so blessed to be a Mother of Many (even if you lot are a lot harder to train than dragons).

‘My babies always and forever. Just call, I’m always here.’

Madeleine singed the message ‘Mama’ and included a read love heart emoji.

In April, she posted a peek at her newborn on Instagram following the birth of her seventh child.

Accompanying an abbreviated photo of the child, the actor from Neighbours posted: ‘Finally on Earth… and absolutely perfect’.

She did not reveal the sex or name of her new arrival at the time.

Madeleine shared the reaction her friends had when she disclosed her pregnancy news in January.

She admitted that when she initially informed her group about the major announcement, there was definitely a certain reaction. To put it mildly, it seemed more like a bewildered deer-in-the-headlights expression to her.

Yet, after showing a surprised look, she quickly replied with “wow” when her friends inquired whether she intended to raise the coming child.

The contentious topic sparked discussions about pregnancies in elderly women and the potential hazards associated with them, a subject she elaborated further during her chat with Stellar Magazine.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I choose to view motherhood not as a constraint on my abilities, but rather an opportunity for exponential growth.

She continued by expressing that although becoming pregnant wasn’t what she had anticipated, it turned out to be an unexpected yet delightful surprise.

As a fervent admirer, I can hardly contain my excitement, feeling that this remarkable figure has arrived just at the moment when I’m ripe for the experience.

Madeleine went on to say she now has ‘more time, wisdom and experience’ when it comes to parenting.
