Avex Pictures has unveiled the first-ever mobile game titled “A Mysterious and Challenging Voyage: Made in Abyss”, which is derived from the highly praised manga and anime series, “Made in Abyss”. The upcoming casual game is being developed by Nobollel Inc. at present.
Get ready to experience the world of Made in Abyss on your mobile devices for the first time
The acclaimed dark fantasy series, “Made in Abyss,” is making its way to mobile devices under the title “A Challenging and Enigmatic Voyage in Made in Abyss“. This game is intended to offer a casual gaming experience. The announcement was made on X (previously known as Twitter), but specific details about the game are still scarce, with only the information that it’s currently being developed.
Should you happen to be unacquainted with Made in Abyss, it originated back in 2012 by the talented hand of Akihito Tsukushi. The animated series made its debut in 2017, swiftly amassing positive feedback and a dedicated fanbase, including myself. The story revolves around an orphan girl named Riko and a partially robotic boy known as Reg, who venture deep into the enigmatic Abyss in pursuit of Riko’s mother.
Although details about the gameplay or its specifics are still unknown, I have high hopes for it based on solid grounds. The series is renowned for its exceptional world-building, storytelling, and character development, earning recognition in both Crunchyroll’s and IGN’s top anime lists of the 2010s.
We can expect a lot from this upcoming title, including a rich story, world-building, and more
Furthermore, since the announcement of season 3 in January 2023, I anticipate the game to release around the same time to capitalize on each other’s excitement. The existing PC and console title, Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, is a well-received 3D action RPG on Steam.
Enthusiastically speaking, being a dedicated admirer of the series, I am genuinely thrilled about this recent news, and I’m eagerly anticipating the release of its mobile counterpart. I sincerely hope it will emulate the same emotional richness, compelling narrative, gripping yet grisly aesthetics, and a diverse cast of characters such as Nanachi, Jiruo, Torka, and many others.
I found an inactive game on Sensor Tower named Made in Abyss Roguelike RPG, which seems to be developed by avex pictures Inc. It appears to be a card-based role-playing game where you gather original artwork cards, outfit relics, fight creatures from the series, and other features; however, it’s uncertain if this new title is related to it.
The enigmatic and challenging adventure, “Made in Abyss,” is being crafted and will soon be available on both Android and iOS devices. Keep an eye out for further announcements!
