On BBC Radio 2 during a chat with Paddy McGuinness on Sunday, Joel playfully remarked that Macy wouldn’t feel let down for exiting the show prematurely, since they’d still receive the same pay and would be spared from additional tasks.

He mentioned that what makes The Masked Singer exceptional is its ability to disregard one’s singing talent; whether you’re an excellent singer or not, the show doesn’t categorize itself as being for either group.

‘Last night it hurt,’ Macy shared, prompting Kim to warn: ‘You have to be careful, you know.’

Macy added: ‘I go on tour after this, so I was trying to lose weight really fast.’
