Machine Gun Kelly disclosed that he entered a highly agitated condition after abstaining from food and drinking only water for a span of four days.
35-year-old rapper expressed worry among fans as he revealed details of his eating habits, mentioning that he frequently embarks on extended fasts, meaning he avoids consuming any food or beverages other than water for several days.
In a recent episode of The New York Times’s Popcast podcast, he mentioned that he had a specific fasting experience shortly after leaving rehab earlier in the year.
Previously, it was disclosed that he spent some time in rehab, which he attended from late November 2024 through early January. This stint in rehab came after his separation from Megan Fox, his former fiancée, the previous year.
He shared with the hosts, Jon Caramonica and Joe Coscarelli, that when he emerged into public view, he found the world buzzing about his private matters regarding his breakup, which had become news.
While ‘trying to get right,’ he said he decided to reset by fasting.
It has been claimed that the 6ft4in star weights 180lbs after coming down from 212lbs.

Upon returning home, he found himself saying something along the lines of, “I think I’ll give water fasting a try,” during a podcast conversation, amidst discussions about the Los Angeles wildfires.
He mentioned that the wildfires broke out fairly near his Malibu residence, which is equipped with a home recording studio, during the third day of his water fasting regimen.
‘I was like, “I’m just gonna push it and go for four days of this water fast,’ he continued.
The Grammy-nominated artist, commonly recognized as MGK (whose birth name is Colson Baker), stated that he chose to persevere and continue to exert himself, despite already feeling physically drained at the time.
He said he was ‘pushing myself to kind of a delirious state’ by then.
On the fourth day, my neighbor, Michael B. Jordan, and I observed as the fires were nearby.
Afterward, he remembered gathering various belongings before evacuating – this included heartfelt letters and both a Banksy and Picasso artwork.
His comments comes amid fan concern after saying he ‘does not really eat.’

In the past month, he mentioned to HipHip-N-More that he typically has several meals per week and consumes a lot of water frequently.
He explained: ‘I’ll drink celery juice sometimes, yeah. Coconut water.’
He mentioned that his regular meals include coffee, cigarettes, along with kimchi, sauerkraut, and bone broth, which he consumes for their probiotic benefits.
During water fasting, a concern arises that it not only deprives you but also eliminates beneficial gut bacteria. To counteract this, it’s important to supplement with probiotics.
He confessed that at times he experiences feelings of weakness or dizziness, prompting fans to express their worry, as many interpreted it as a potential sign of an eating disorder.
On a recent interview with ESPN’s Pat McAfee, the artist who released his new album titled “Lost Americana” last Friday, shared an interesting experience from his past. He mentioned that he once suffered a migraine lasting 50 hours.
McAfee inquired of MGK, “Is it because you’re on a water fast and not consuming food that this is occurring?
MGK replied: ‘I actually do think that it’s catching up to me.’
